IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently booked a part-time course at a college. You now need to cancel your booking.

Write a letter to the college administrator. In your letter:

• say which part-time course you booked
• explain why you need to cancel your booking
• ask about booking a different course

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear sir or madam,

I am writing to express my concern about canceling a part-time course, which I enroll recently at your Language coaching center on 25th August.

I had register a part-time English course last week for evening batch and paid full application fees. The purpose of enrollment is to improve my English test result, which is require for my permanent residency application.

However, when I consult my layer, I got to know that my application is still valid with my previous English result, and there is no need to appear for next attempt. Therefore, I'm requesting for the cancellation for this course.

In contrast, I would be happy to enroll in French class because recent draw for permanent residency had outstanding result for applicant who know how to speak French language.

Looking forward to your prompt response about above inquire and hoping for positive response.
