IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You recently booked a part-time course at a college. You now need to cancel your booking.

Write a letter to the college administrator. In your letter:

• say which part-time course you booked
• explain why you need to cancel your booking
• ask about booking a different course

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter in order to cancel one of the course at your institute that i intially decided to opt for. In addition to this, I would like to request for a course change as per my current convenience.

Intially, I decided that i will go with statistics because it is one of my favourite course in the entire curriculum, and also it is one of those courses for which your institute is know for globally. However, some recent developments have forced me to change my prior decision. I came to know that this course is being taught during the eveing lectures. This is something which is inconvenient for me, as I work part-time at a local bakery, and it would be diffcult for me to ensure my availability during those hours.

Additionally, I would like to request for a different course. Among the list of the courses available, I have decided to go with physical sciences, as it is another subject in which have quite foundness, and also the timmings for it seems quite convenient.
