Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5

You make a partial attempt to cover the requested points: you refer to joining a part-time course, say you cannot continue “in this time,” and ask to change to a different course. However, the course you booked is never identified, and the reason for cancelling is unclear; the references to your parents and future opportunities do not explain what has changed. The request about another course is also vague, with no question about available options or how to transfer. The response is 144 words, so it does not meet the 150-word minimum. The opening also does not follow the required “Dear Sir or Madam,”. To improve, state the course name, give a clear reason, and ask specifically about suitable alternatives.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic sequence from introducing yourself to discussing the course and closing the letter, and the reader can recognise that you want to change courses. However, the ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and several points run together in a long, difficult-to-follow section. Connections such as “and” and “this is” do not clearly show how your study, your parents’ wishes, and your request relate to one another. The closing sentence, “I am learner in this college is very gland,” also interrupts the letter’s progression. Organise the response into short paragraphs for the booked course and cancellation reason, the request for another course, and a polite closing; use clear links such as “because” and “Could you please let me know…”.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “part time course,” “different course,” “study,” and “profession,” so the general topic is recognisable. There are also attempts at more formal expressions, such as “better opportunities” and “I am very thankful.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural word choices frequently make the message harder to understand: examples include “intermidiate,” “veiw,” “chanimg,” and “obedientaly.” Some phrases, such as “bad effect of my study” and “protect in my future,” do not express your intended meaning clearly. Build accuracy with common college-letter phrases and check spelling, word forms, and collocations before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0

The response attempts to communicate several ideas in sentences, but grammatical control is limited and errors often obscure the relationships between them. For example, “I am study in this college” has an incorrect verb form, while “My join the course class at college in part time” lacks a clear sentence structure. In “I request i am not do course in this time,” the verb pattern and clause construction are faulty. Capitalisation and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “.I” and the lower-case “i.” Most sentences rely on simple or incomplete patterns, with little accurate variety. Practise complete subject–verb sentences and basic forms such as “I am studying,” “I booked,” and “I need to cancel because…”.
