Student answer (Band 6.0)
Cloths are the one of the necessary thing to survive in this era. In this modern world a lot of brands has opened and selling there different type of products which are expensive due to their name. The one think pop out from mind after listen the name of brand is cloth. Some people prefer costly cloths whereas other purchase low cost cloths. I agree with buying less cloths but expensive one due to some reason which I explain with illustration in following paragraphs.
To Start with the quote" First impression is the last impression". People will judge the person personality by looking the appearance and the grace of the cloth what wear. For instance if a person going for an interview with casual cloth which are cheaper will definitely get rejected on other hand if wearing formal cloth which are costly will enhance the personality and will have more chance to get accepted. The result is that branded cloths feels the person special and low key.
Moving further, the quality of expensive cloths are far better then cheaper cloth. There was a survey conduct my oxford university from people by giving them cheaper cloth to one team and expensive or branded cloth to other to use these cloth for regularly for a month and the result was shocking. The low cost cloths were fainted and some were worn off whereas branded cloth were look like new. Hence, the quality is better then quantity.
Overall, Branded cloths are good to buy due to good quality and improve looks. Where as buy cheaper cloths for comfort purpose like in home where is no one to judge you.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have addressed the prompt by clearly stating your position in the introduction and supporting it with two main arguments: the social importance of appearance and the durability of quality garments. The ideas are relevant, though the development is somewhat simplistic. For instance, the example regarding the Oxford University survey is a good attempt at supporting your argument, but it lacks specific detail to make it fully convincing. To reach a higher band, ensure that your supporting points are more thoroughly explored and that your conclusion does not introduce new, contradictory ideas, such as the suggestion to buy cheap clothes for home use, which slightly undermines your stated position.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices like 'To start with', 'Moving further', and 'On the other hand' to link your ideas. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. Some sentences are disjointed, and the relationship between ideas could be smoother. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the internal structure of the paragraphs could benefit from more varied linking words to improve the overall progression of your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite repetitive and lacks precision. You frequently use basic terms like 'cloths' (which should be 'clothes' or 'clothing') and 'expensive/cheaper'. There are also several word-choice errors, such as 'fainted' instead of 'faded' and 'low key' used incorrectly to describe a person. To improve, you should aim to use a wider range of topic-specific vocabulary related to consumer habits, fashion, and quality, and pay closer attention to correct collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('a lot of brands has opened'), article usage, and pluralization ('cloths' instead of 'clothing'). Sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when you attempt more complex constructions. For example, 'The one think pop out from mind after listen the name of brand is cloth' is difficult to follow due to missing words and incorrect verb forms. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors impact the readability of your essay.
