Now a days people are becoming so materialistic that they are not think about their budget. Many group of individuals opine that it is better to spend money on branded clothes rather than buying from local shops .However, i firmly agree with the above notion any my arugments along with the reasons are discussed in the forthcoming paragraphs.

To begin with there are myraids of advantages to have a shopping from a branded shopes. Firstly, they can get a good quality along with a good promotional offers. To cite an example, brands like Levis, Aeropostale, and Tommy gives us an instruction that what type of materials they used in clothes along with their verified symbol. Secondly, we can get a pleasant atmosphere along with a good customer service when we enter into the shops. This is because every customer now a days expected to be treated well and they should be helpful to them.

Last but not the least, as we shop more from such well known brands they think to buy some new shops in different locations. So, this could be win- win situation to customers and those who are umemployed. This could reduce the unemployement ratio in many developing countries. To exemplify, Levis brand which is originally from USA is now seen every where in the world due to increase in demand and they hire a thousands of employes each year.

However, Many personality think that it is better to have a cheaper clothes because everybody cannot afford such type of branded clothes and they also have their family responsibility to see like children education, better healthcare , house loans and many burdens so it would upset their family budget. Many people are so materialistic that they believe that rather than spending a lot of money on branded clothes they prefer to buy more local clothes in thier budget so that they can wear different clothes on many occassions like birthday parties, weeding and many other festivals.

To sum up, there are many benefits of shopping from branded stores like positive environment, range of offers , good customer service and increases an employement in countries which have an edge over buying a clothes from local stores.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. The arguments are relevant, particularly the points regarding quality and employment. However, the development is somewhat uneven. For instance, the argument about employment is a bit of a stretch and lacks a direct link to the core issue of 'quality vs. quantity' in clothing. While the counter-argument is acknowledged, it is not fully integrated into the main argument, making the overall development feel slightly disjointed. To improve, ensure that every point directly supports your stance on why quality is superior to quantity.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with', 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'To sum up', though some transitions feel a bit mechanical. Referencing is generally clear, but there are instances where the flow is interrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'Last but not the least'. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the main arguments from the counter-argument. Overall, the structure is coherent, but the use of cohesive devices could be more varied and natural to achieve a higher band.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. There are some errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'myraids of advantages to have a shopping' (should be 'myriad advantages to shopping') and 'unemployement ratio' (should be 'unemployment rate'). The student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'materialistic' and 'promotional offers', but the overall range is somewhat limited. Spelling errors, such as 'weeding' instead of 'wedding' and 'thier', also occur, though they do not significantly impede communication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('every customer... expected to be treated', 'brands... gives us an instruction') and article usage ('a thousands of employes'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and article usage would significantly improve the accuracy of the writing.
