Some individuals believe that it is more favorable to purchase a few costly outfits instead of lots of inexpensive ones. I completely agree with this statement because expensive clothes give more comfort serves better quality and provide impressive look. My inclination is justified in the ensuing paragraphs with valid reason and appropriate examples.
The primary reason for buying expensive clothes is that it provides best quality fabric and more comfort while wearing. Most of expensive clothes are made by high brands. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt clearly, maintaining a consistent position throughout. The arguments regarding quality, comfort, and social status are relevant. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about 'customer service' is mentioned but not explained in the context of clothing, and the example regarding 'college students' is a bit vague. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your examples with more specific details or logical explanations to fully flesh out your arguments. The conclusion effectively summarizes your stance, though it repeats points already made without adding new depth.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'Additionally', and 'To conclude' to link ideas. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by mechanical phrasing and some awkward transitions. For example, the sentence 'As result, People can enjoy high attantion and can make good impressiones' lacks a smooth connection to the preceding thought. Additionally, some referencing is slightly unclear, and the use of punctuation is inconsistent, which affects the overall readability. Improving the variety of linking words would help the essay flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'favorable', 'symbolize', and 'beneficiar' (though misspelled). However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and spelling mistakes, such as 'coustumes', 'attantion', 'impressiones', and 'cloths' instead of 'clothes'. These errors are noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To improve, focus on mastering common collocations and ensuring accurate spelling of key terms. Using more precise synonyms for 'expensive' or 'cheap' would also elevate your lexical score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, they often contain grammatical errors, such as 'Most of expensive clothes are made by high brands' (missing article) and 'it gives comfort' (subject-verb agreement). There are also issues with article usage and pluralization throughout the text. While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to limit the score. To improve, pay closer attention to subject-verb agreement, the correct use of articles (a/an/the), and consistent verb tense usage.
