Student answer (Band 4.0)
Few individuals opine that remote jobs have numerous advantages for workers, whereas, others argued that it create difficulties for them. One major benefit is flexibility in working and they can give proper time for their family, while, lack of communication skills and poor performance on online meetings are there consequences.
One major pros of work from home is flexibility on work. When they start online jobs, they do not have to follow a schedule for work which can saves their time as well as travelling cost. Another benefit is giving personal time for family. If they do remote jobs, they can easily give proper time to their loved ones which strengthen their relationship bonds.
There disadvantages can not be denied. Firstly, lacking of communication skills. When they continue to follow remote jobs, it weaken their skill of communication with colleagues which leads to lack of confidence also. Furthermore, the online meetings can poor their performance of work. For instance, when they attend online meetings from anywhere such as in car, bus, train, or sometimes in family which creates disturbance as well as misunderstanding the topics due to which they shows poor performance on their position.
In conclusion, work from home is beneficial because this gives a proper time for family and work, however, lack of communication as well as poor performance on work can create problem for them. In my opinion, people should do the offline jobs which can makes them more confident for their communication and better performance of work.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 1.0
The response is completely off-topic. The prompt asks for an opinion on whether it is better to buy a few expensive clothes versus many cheap ones. However, the essay discusses the advantages and disadvantages of remote work. Because the response does not address the task at all, it fails to meet the requirements for Task Achievement. Even if the content were relevant, the ideas are presented in a very generic way without specific examples related to the prompt. To improve, you must carefully read the prompt and ensure your arguments directly answer the specific question asked.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is structured with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, which provides a basic framework. However, the logical progression is hindered by the fact that the content is irrelevant to the prompt. Cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion' are used, but they are mechanical and do not effectively link ideas to a central argument. Paragraphing is present, but the lack of a clear, relevant topic makes the overall flow confusing. To improve, focus on ensuring that each paragraph develops a single, clear idea that supports your main position.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. You use basic terms like 'benefits', 'disadvantages', and 'performance' throughout the text. There are also several errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'poor their performance' (should be 'impair their performance') and 'do the offline jobs' (should be 'work in an office'). The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas, and the errors occasionally make the meaning slightly unclear. To improve, try to learn collocations and synonyms for common words to add variety and precision to your writing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the essay. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('others argued that it create difficulties'), incorrect verb forms ('which can saves their time'), and awkward phrasing ('lacking of communication skills'). While you attempt some complex sentences, they are often marred by errors that impede clarity. Punctuation is generally functional, but the overall control of grammar is weak. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures, particularly subject-verb agreement and the correct use of modal verbs, before attempting more complex grammatical constructions.
