The first and foremost reason for disagreement is that cost-effective cloths are beneficial because of flexibility to change as per the trendy fashion. To illustrate, nowadays, majority of people want to enhance their personality by wearing various kind of attires which are popular in the social media. Hence, if cloths are affordable, individuals could either replace it or with new once or throw it, whereas expensive cloths are not replaceable since it looks pretty not only in terms of quality but also in price. Moreover, Individuals can save money for fulfilling other important needs of their life if they are buying cheaper once.
However, although having benefits of inexpensive clothes, high priced attires provide plenty of benefits in terms of the quality, better fit and fabric performance. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the argument. However, the position is somewhat ambiguous; while you state you 'agree as much as disagree', a more decisive stance throughout the essay would improve the score. The ideas are relevant, such as the flexibility of cheaper clothes versus the durability of expensive ones, but some points are under-developed. For instance, the link between expensive clothes and 'success' is asserted but not fully explained. To reach a higher band, ensure your position is clear from the introduction to the conclusion and provide more detailed, logical support for each main point.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'The first and foremost reason', 'However', and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Even though having benefits. Nevertheless,'. Additionally, there are some issues with referencing; for example, 'it' in 'replace it or with new once' is unclear. Improving the variety and natural flow of your linking words will help you achieve a higher band.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'contemporary', 'flexibility', and 'durability'. However, there are several persistent errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'small number of attire' (attire is uncountable), 'cheaper once' (should be 'ones'), and 'lowered price clothes'. These errors occasionally distract the reader. To improve, focus on learning the correct plural forms and collocations for clothing-related vocabulary, and try to incorporate more precise, less common lexical items to demonstrate a wider range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the flow. Examples include 'clothing become' (should be 'clothing has become'), 'I am agree' (should be 'I agree'), and 'a person wants' (should be 'if a person wants'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with sentence fragments like 'Even though having benefits.' To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and ensure that every sentence has a clear subject and a finite verb.
