Student answer (Band 6.0)

A group of people believe that individuals should buy less number of branded clothes compare to collect huge amount of inexpensive outfits. I think in reverse and disagree with given statement. I will explain my view and supportive points in upcoming paragraphs.

Out of the all arguments of purchasing high priced attire compare to buy cheap clothes the strongest one is o prove my point is that the high price of clothes. This is to say, the middle class and lower class people can not afford to get branded clothes because their income is low compared to upper class individuals. A good example of this is, Zara salling one tope in 5000 indian currency but one middle class person can earn 30,000 to 40,000 rupees/monthly, in that amount they have to maintain food, electricity, transportation and daily life needs. In that case they can easily manage cheape clothes, which sale under 2000. Moreover, Cheap clothes we can wear for month and if human feal I want to wear something new they can easily buy or change; however, for the branded clothes they have to wait for sale or new offers.

Another reason to support my view is that if people starts to buy only expensive clothes that directly make profit for only well known brands. On the other side, the small clothes shops will face the financial problem and that will not support the GDP. For supporting middle class and poor class people we need to support new business of clothing and fabric factories also we need to support tailors.

On the contrary, some human beings counter claims the mentioned support. The foremost argument they do is branded clothes are comfortable and long lasting. Also they believe that clothes presents their personality and there is myth famous people judge persons by their looks and clothing style. For that reasons they are supporting high prices attires.

To conclude and wrap up the discussion, I totally disagree with those people who support expensive clothes inspite of less expensive clothes.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The argument regarding the economic impact on small businesses and GDP is a relevant point, but it is not fully explored in relation to the core topic of personal clothing choices. The explanation of the counter-argument is also quite brief. To improve, you should focus on providing more nuanced analysis of why one approach is superior to the other, rather than simply listing reasons. The conclusion is a bit abrupt and could be more effectively used to summarize the main arguments presented in the body paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'On the other side', and 'To conclude', which helps the flow of ideas. However, some transitions feel mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Out of the all arguments of purchasing high priced attire compare to buy cheap clothes the strongest one is o prove my point is that the high price of clothes.' The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the logical progression between sentences could be smoother to ensure the reader follows your argument without effort.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are frequent errors in word choice and collocation that occasionally impede clarity. For example, 'less number of branded clothes' should be 'fewer branded clothes', and 'Zara salling one tope' contains spelling and usage errors. You attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'GDP' and 'financial problem', but the range is limited. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and avoiding repetitive phrasing. Work on expanding your vocabulary related to consumer habits and economic concepts to express your ideas with greater sophistication.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles, pluralization, and verb forms (e.g., 'if people starts to buy', 'human feal', 'high prices attires'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some run-on sentences and missing commas. These errors are noticeable and occur throughout the text. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy will help you achieve a higher score, as the current frequency of errors is a limiting factor.
