Student answer (Band 6.0)
Few individuals opine that it is a beneficial to purchase a few items of expensive clothes rather than to spend unnecessary on many low-priced clothing. I largely agree with this view as I personally believe in buying a qualitative clothes that are durable. This essay intends to discuss my view-points in detail in the upcoming paragraphs.
To commence with, expensive clothes are usually made from high qualitative materials which makes them to last longer as compared to the cheap clothes. The quality of clothes is extremely important therefore they couldn't harmfully affect the health of the individuals as when they are free from harsh chemicals and materials they do not cause any skin allergies, hives and encezma in humans consequently it is best for people to buy a expensive clothes than a cheap clothes which is the biggest cause of skin problems and allergies in people . Moreover, they are designed in a way that their manufacturing have a less impact on the environment for instance many big expensive brands usually have their main priority to provide environmental friendly products to their consumers.
In addition, it reduces unnecessary wastage on the earth as low quality products only lasts for few months which cause them to discard in an environment later on. Moreover, most of them are non-renewable clothes that is the biggest cause of pollution globally. They stay on the land in the form of litter. Consequently, the environment becomes dirty and contaminated.
In conclusion, However at first high quality clothes looks expensive to people but they are beneficial for environment as well as for human health as they reduce unnecessary waste on the earth.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the opening: you largely agree that buying a few durable, higher-quality clothes is preferable. You give relevant reasons about durability, skin health and environmental waste, and the examples of skin allergies and clothing brands help connect the argument to real effects. This covers the task well, but the support is uneven: the health claim that cheap clothes are a major cause of skin problems is asserted rather than explained or evidenced, and the environmental point about brands is general. The response also focuses almost entirely on advantages of expensive clothes, without considering why someone might reasonably prefer cheaper items. Developing the claims with specific examples and acknowledging that counterpoint would make the argument more fully extended.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present reasons, and a conclusion restates the position. The progression from durability and health to environmental effects is generally logical, and linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “Consequently” help show relationships between ideas. However, “Moreover” is repeated, and some connections are mechanical or unclear. For example, the sentence beginning “The quality of clothes is extremely important” combines several claims about materials, allergies and price without clear separation. The conclusion begins with “However” even though it does not introduce a contrast. Use more precise transitions, make each paragraph’s central point clearer, and divide long chains of ideas into sentences with explicit links.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary suited to the topic, including “durable,” “harsh chemicals,” “skin allergies,” “non-renewable” and “contaminated.” These choices show an effort to discuss health and environmental consequences rather than relying only on basic terms. However, inaccurate word forms and collocations are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less natural: “a qualitative clothes,” “spend unnecessary,” “high qualitative materials,” and “environmental friendly products” are not idiomatic. There are also spelling errors such as “encezma,” and repeated use of “clothes” limits flexibility. Build accuracy with common combinations such as “high-quality clothing,” “spend unnecessarily,” and “environmentally friendly,” and vary references with terms such as “garments” or “items.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses with “as,” “which” and “when,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in longer sentences. Examples include “a few items of expensive clothes,” “which makes them to last longer,” and “a expensive clothes,” where article, agreement or verb-pattern errors occur. The sentence beginning “The quality of clothes is extremely important” also runs several clauses together, with punctuation missing before “therefore.” In the conclusion, “However at first high quality clothes looks expensive” has problems with punctuation and subject–verb agreement. Aim for shorter, accurately punctuated sentences first, then check articles, plural forms and verb patterns when adding complex clauses.
