Student answer (Band 5.5)

Clothes are part of human life, its take care of human body in winter, summer or many weathers. Clothes are desined acoording to weather. I am agree with expensive clothes there are a alot of reason behind this which i will be discuss in upcoming paragraphs with relevent examples.

First and formost, expensive clothes give a quality its running for a long time. To eleborate it; some company like a Tommy Hilfiler, Bonds, Clevin Klevin and any more these clothes expensive but with a reginable price. Therefore, If individuals spend a money one time for those clothes then its gives comfertable, good looking, quality for a long time and people get new experience.

Along with this, some people spend the money for clothes acoording to trend which is not a useful sometime because this is trick of some companies for earn the more money anyway.

A part from this, some people can not afford a expensive clothes so they prefer to buy a normal clothes. But, individuals invest a lot of money on this because cheap clothes are not running for long time . For example, poor people purchase cheap clothes without quality, However. clothes are wrose after few days and people again spend more money for clothes. As a result, people have to be more burden of clothes and have to alot of clothes but not a good.

To conclude, according to my perspective, spend the money on clothes only one time and wear a clothes for long time rather than invest the money back to back for cheap clothes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear: you agree that buying fewer, more expensive clothes is preferable, and you give relevant reasons about durability and the repeated cost of replacing cheap items. The example of people buying low-quality clothes that wear out after a few days helps illustrate this argument. You also acknowledge that some people cannot afford expensive clothing, which shows awareness of a counterpoint. However, this point is not fully explored, and the discussion of trend-driven purchases is brief and only loosely connected to your main case. To strengthen the response, explain the benefits and limitations of your position more fully, and develop each example with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion, and the main ideas generally follow a sensible order. Paragraph openings such as “First and foremost” and “Along with this” help signal progression. However, some links are mechanical or unclear: “Along with this” introduces a point about trends that does not clearly build on the previous paragraph, while “A part from this” introduces the affordability counterpoint without showing how it relates to the argument. Several sentences also run ideas together, making relationships difficult to follow. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each paragraph explicitly to your position; ensure pronouns such as “this” and “it” have clear references.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “quality,” “trend,” “afford,” and “cheap clothes,” and you attempt more specific expressions such as “invest” and “comfortable.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, as in “expensive clothes give a quality its running for a long time” and “have to be more burden of clothes.” Spelling errors such as “desined,” “relevent,” and “comfertable” are also noticeable. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing durability, cost and value, and check spelling and natural word combinations. This would make your ideas easier to understand and more precise.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a conditional idea beginning “If individuals spend a money one time” and a contrast introduced by “However.” This shows an effort to express relationships between ideas. However, sentence patterns are often faulty, and errors in articles, agreement, verb forms and sentence boundaries can make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “I am agree” has an incorrect verb form, while “some people can not afford a expensive clothes” has problems with the article and noun number. The sentence beginning “First and foremost” also joins clauses without a clear grammatical structure. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then use a smaller number of complex sentences with correct clause links and punctuation.
