Student answer (Band 6.0)
I am strongly agree with given statement because expensive clothes are made up of good material and they handle with care less chances of getting clothes tear.
In modern era, lot of individuals judge us by our clothes. so now clothes become status and status help us to make deals, buisness and many more things. To attract people we have to wear good expensive clothes.
The cheaper clothes have very bad impact to bodies. some people rise complaint for rashes on body due to low quality of fibre used in unexpensive clothes. On the other hand, expensive clothes goes through quality check points, fiber quality, stiching. Most probably in expensive clothes their is more chance in fitting of clothes.
Now number of individuals believe in quality rather than quantity. expensive clothes gain trust by providing long term of use and gurantee. If we get any problem in guranted period then company give another clothe without any questioning. Last year i buy expensive Nike hoodie from amazon and in description they give 2 years warranty. Few weeks ago my hoodie got shredded and i rise a complaint and they give me same hoodie without any cost .
I also have some cheaper clothes but i do not like to wear that clothes because after wearing some days the clothes adapt some unwanted smell which make people uncomfortable around me. so after that experince i never bought cheaper clothes.
In conclusion, expensive clothes look more stylish and we can use them for long term if something happen we have change policy also but if cheaper clothes got damage then its become garbage by default no chance of exchange.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
Your position is clear from the opening—“I am strongly agree” signals support for buying fewer, more expensive clothes—and the conclusion returns to this view. You give several relevant reasons, including durability, quality checks, warranty cover and a personal example about replacing a Nike hoodie. These points address the question and are supported with explanation. However, some claims are broad or not fully established: for example, that expensive clothes help people “make deals” and that cheaper clothes cause body rashes would be more convincing with qualification or clearer evidence. The point about smell is also less directly connected to the comparison of cost and value. Develop the strongest reasons with more precise explanation and avoid generalising about all clothing or consumers.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: it introduces your opinion, presents several supporting reasons in separate paragraphs, and ends with a conclusion. The personal warranty example is placed appropriately after the point about long-term use, and transitions such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help signal relationships. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, with repeated openings such as “expensive clothes” and “cheaper clothes.” Some links between ideas are abrupt: the claim about clothing as status moves quickly to making business deals, while the final paragraph introduces smell as a separate reason. Use clearer referencing and connect each example explicitly to the central argument about value, durability, or cost.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic vocabulary to communicate your main points, including “quality,” “fibre,” “fitting,” “warranty,” and “exchange policy.” The hoodie example also gives the response some specific language rather than relying entirely on general statements. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations sound unnatural, such as “clothes adapt some unwanted smell,” “rise a complaint,” and “made up of good material.” Spelling errors—including “buisness,” “stiching,” “gurantee,” and “experince”—also make the writing less polished and can slow the reader. Build a more precise range for discussing durability and value, and check spelling and common word partnerships before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a mixture of simple statements and longer sentences, including conditional structures such as “If we get any problem in guranted period then company give another clothe.” This shows an effort to explain consequences and give examples. However, control is uneven, and errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles and punctuation occur throughout. For instance, “I am strongly agree” should be “I strongly agree,” while “Last year i buy” needs a past-tense verb. In “expensive clothes goes,” the plural subject requires a plural verb. Several sentences also join ideas without clear punctuation, making them harder to follow. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add complex clauses while checking tense, agreement and sentence boundaries.
