In this modern era, fashion plays a vital role. Many people think that it is good to purchase a some of costly clothes while others believe in to buy a lots of cheaper clothes. I strongly agree with the statement and give my views in upcoming paragraphs.

To commence with, to buy an expensive clothes is better because the clothes which are high in cost are also high in quality. To elaborate, due to good in quality as compare to cheaper clothes, will rise the cost of clothes that's by people think it is good way to buy few clothes rather to buy in quantity. Moreover, most of the quality clothes come under the brand value and many celebrities promote the brands as their brand ambassadors so, that is the another reason for people to buy an expensive clothes due to famous personality is wearing the same clothes.

Furthermore, the expensive clothes are good in fabric and top in design which will enhance the personality of the person and the overall look of the person after wearing the costly clothes are more attractive rather than the cheaper clothes. In addition to, the costly clothes are also better in finishing or good in style which will give the amazing look to the people and up-to-date with fashion styles. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the introduction (“I strongly agree”), and the response stays focused on why expensive clothes may be preferable. You give relevant reasons, including quality, fabric, design, durability and the influence of celebrity brand ambassadors. However, these points are not developed equally: the celebrity example is asserted rather than explained, and claims about appearance and quality remain broad. The response also does not consider why someone might choose cheaper clothes, which would help address the comparison more fully. To strengthen the argument, explain how durability could make a higher initial price worthwhile, and add a specific example or briefly acknowledge a counterargument before explaining why you still agree.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs beginning with “To commence with” and “Furthermore,” and a conclusion. The ideas generally progress from quality and branding to appearance and durability, so the reader can follow the overall argument. However, linking phrases are sometimes mechanical, and connections within sentences are not always clear—for example, “To elaborate” is followed by a sentence whose relationship between quality and cost is difficult to follow. The conclusion also repeats the main claim without drawing the reasons together. Use clearer links between each claim and its explanation, and organise each body paragraph around one main reason supported by a specific example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “quality,” “brand ambassadors,” “fabric,” “design,” “finishing” and “long lasting.” These choices make the subject clear, and some phrases show an attempt to use more specific language. However, several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “purchase a some of costly clothes,” “good in quality,” “top in design” and “up-to-date with fashion styles.” Repetition of “expensive,” “clothes” and “good” also limits flexibility. Aim for more natural collocations and vary repeated terms; for instance, describe garments as “well-made” or “durable,” and refer to “higher-priced clothing” rather than repeating “expensive clothes.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “because,” “which” and “while.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main message is usually understandable. However, errors in articles, agreement and sentence construction are evident in examples such as “a some of costly clothes,” “to buy an expensive clothes,” and “the overall look … are more attractive.” Some longer sentences are difficult to control, particularly “To elaborate, due to good in quality as compare to cheaper clothes, will rise the cost of clothes…” The conclusion also contains an unclear construction: “good in design will which attract.” Practise building complete clauses with clear subjects and verbs, and check singular/plural agreement and article use.
