Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some people argue that it is more beneficial to buy a few branded clothes as compared to cheaper ones. I strongly agree that buying expensive but a few gives more benefits than spending on cheaper attires.
Buying expensive clothes gives extra sense of comfort, because of its fabric and also it is a mind set for few people if they buy expensive clothes the quaility is high, and sometimes its true. These days people are surviving on the paychecks and rather than spending again and again they chose to spend bit extra to buy good quality clothes. Therefore, most of people buying expensive but few clotthes.
The another reason is saving time while getting ready to work. For example, having a few clothes saves time by getting ready within few minutes than spending half of the moring choosing what to wear. As it limits the choices not clutter happends especially if a person has a hectic schedule. This makes quick decision and saves time for other important things.
Cheaper clothes sometimes fails to provide durablity. No doubt these are pocketf friendly, and can give more variety to wear and also puts less finanacial pressure. But still, spending again and again on one thing is not a nice choice. This option is good for people who does not have a good source of income and who want to try every new fashion.
In conclusion, Although buying inexpensive clothes offers number of benefits but wearing high quality, and having polish look improves confidence and it is a wise choice to spend on expensive clothes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear from the introduction: you strongly agree that buying a few expensive items is more beneficial. You give relevant reasons about comfort and quality, saving time, and the drawbacks of cheaper clothes, and the example of choosing work clothes helps make one point concrete. This covers the task well. However, the reasons are not equally developed: the claim that expensive clothes are more comfortable is asserted rather than supported with a specific example, and the time-saving point could explain more clearly why owning fewer clothes makes a practical difference. The concession about cheaper clothes is relevant, but its connection to your final recommendation could be made more explicit. More explanation and support would make the argument more fully convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction states your view, each body paragraph presents a reason or qualification, and the conclusion restates your preference. Linking expressions such as “Therefore,” “For example,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the main stages. Some connections, however, feel mechanical or unclear. “The another reason” does not introduce the next point smoothly, while “As it limits the choices not clutter happends” leaves the relationship between fewer choices and less clutter difficult to follow. The paragraph about cheaper clothes also shifts from their advantages to who might choose them without clearly linking this concession back to your position. Use clearer references and connect each paragraph’s final point to your overall argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of clothing and lifestyle vocabulary, including “fabric,” “quality,” “variety,” “financial pressure,” and “hectic schedule.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and phrases such as “saves time” and “source of income” are appropriate to the topic. However, several spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural expressions reduce accuracy, including “quaility,” “clotthes,” “pocketf friendly,” and “polish look.” Some wording is also repetitive, particularly “expensive clothes” and “spending again and again.” Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully; this would make your vocabulary more controlled and help express distinctions between durability, cost, and value more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a reason clause with “because” and a contrast introduced by “Although.” The overall meaning is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “most of people buying” lacks a clear finite verb and needs an article, while “Cheaper clothes sometimes fails” has a subject–verb agreement error. The sentence beginning “As it limits the choices” is also incomplete in its connection to the preceding sentence, and “Although buying inexpensive clothes offers number of benefits but…” combines two contrasting structures incorrectly. Work on complete sentence construction, agreement, and articles, and revise contrast clauses so that each sentence has a clear grammatical framework.
