Student answer (Band 5.5)
In todays financial situations i strongly belive that buy all those clothes which are economical and high quality regardless of the expensive clothes because it makes out budget out.
one major benefit is that when you buy unnessary clothes either its expensive or not its indirectly wastage of money. Mostly brand conciouss people thinks, fabric quality of these clothes are awesome but i think its just cash their brana name to tag high prices of all clothes. Same cloth even same fabric in local market having low prices or having same quality.
Other thing is that we should promote our local clothing brands rather then international brands.
Because it promotes our economical stability or cultural growth. In my opinion, buy cheaper things having good quality rather then expensive one thing. however if we purchase low cost clothes we bought two or thress in one expensive dress price. it gives use option to wear these dresses in different gatherings, nevertheless one same outfit in all the events it would be embaressing.
furthermore, middle class families having economical pressure and in current over priced situations, it's difficult for a family to spend a lot on shopping. most of people did not afford expensive daily need goods, if someone brought many things in theri limited budget is a sensible or frugal person.
In conclusion, i firmly belive that we should spend on clothing in a budget friendly way. Neither buy highly prices dresses nor low price dresses that are very poor fabric quality. we should always remain in balanced way.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
Your position is clear: you favour affordable clothing that is still good quality, rather than spending heavily on a few expensive items. You give relevant reasons, including the financial pressure on middle-class families, the value of local brands, and having more outfits for different occasions. These points address the question, but several are asserted rather than explained. For example, the claim that local brands support “economical stability or cultural growth” would be stronger with a specific explanation or example. The discussion also shifts between opposing expensive clothes and rejecting very poor-quality cheap clothes, so clarify that your preference is for good-value clothing, not simply the lowest price. Develop one or two reasons more fully to make the argument more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall structure: it introduces your view, presents several supporting points, and ends with a conclusion. Paragraph breaks help separate the main ideas, and transitions such as “one major benefit,” “furthermore,” and “in conclusion” signal movement between points. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because ideas are added without clear links. For instance, the point about buying several cheaper dresses moves quickly to embarrassment at wearing one outfit repeatedly. “Other thing” and “Because” also create an abrupt transition, while “however” and “nevertheless” do not always show the intended relationship clearly. Organise each paragraph around one reason, then explain it and give an example; use fewer, more precise linking expressions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “brand conscious,” “fabric quality,” “economical stability,” “over priced,” and “frugal.” This gives you some range beyond basic clothing terms. However, spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural word combinations are noticeable and sometimes make the intended meaning harder to understand. Examples include “unnessary,” “brana name,” “highly prices,” and “economical pressure.” Some phrases, such as “cash their brand name to tag high prices,” are difficult to interpret. Aim for accurate, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. You could express the same ideas more clearly with phrases such as “charge a premium for the brand,” “financial pressure,” and “reasonably priced, good-quality clothes.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, including conditional and contrastive structures, but the range is limited and complex sentences are often faulty. Errors in verb forms and agreement occur in examples such as “people thinks” and “if we purchase low cost clothes we bought two,” while sentence patterns such as “Same cloth even same fabric in local market having low prices” lack a clear subject and finite verb. Articles, plurals, and punctuation are also inconsistent, as in “one expensive dress price” and the long sentence beginning “furthermore, middle class families.” These problems sometimes make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement and tense consistency before adding clauses.
