Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You include the main situation and make a clear request for a replacement: the purchase was a Raymond formal outfit, yellow marks were found on the trousers, and you want the company to act quickly. However, the task is only partly addressed because the purchase details are imprecise and the urgency is not explained. You say “Yesterday I purchased” but do not give useful order or item details, and you never state why you need the replacement urgently, such as an upcoming event. The complaint is also weakened by unclear wording about where you bought the clothes. Develop each bullet point directly and explain the deadline or occasion that makes prompt replacement necessary.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The letter follows a broadly sensible order: it introduces the purchase, describes the defect, and ends with a request. This gives the reader a basic understanding of your purpose. However, the middle section is difficult to follow because several details are crowded together, and the sequence is not always clear—for example, “On the top of this” and “when I reched home I opend to see my mom” do not clearly connect the events. The response is also presented as one long paragraph, so the purchase, problem, and requested action are not visually separated. Use short paragraphs and straightforward links such as “When I arrived home” and “As I need the outfit for…” to make the progression clearer.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to a complaint, including “replacement,” “reputed,” “negligence,” and “immediate action,” which helps communicate dissatisfaction. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make parts of the message hard to understand, such as “a colour shade in it,” “patron cunsumer,” and “proffection pair.” Some choices are also unnatural for this context: “showroom” suggests an in-person purchase, while the task specifies buying clothing online. Choose precise terms such as “online order,” “formal suit,” and “yellow stains,” and check spelling carefully. More accurate, natural collocations would make the complaint sound clearer and more professional.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the basic message can generally be understood. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in sentence construction, verb forms, articles, and punctuation. For example, “I found a colour shade in it” does not form a clear grammatical statement, while “I immediatly tried to called you” uses an incorrect verb pattern. The sentence beginning “Having a trust to your brand” is also incomplete in its construction, and the closing “your sincerely” is not correctly formed. Practise building clear subject–verb sentences and check verb patterns after “try” and “would like.” Breaking long sentences into shorter ones will also help you control punctuation.
