Moreover, It is a traditional Indian dress called as gown. I selected pink colour dress and its cost around 12000 Rupees. The main problems in this dress the colour, as I mentioned eariler it's pink colour dress, I recieved baby pink that colour is totally dull and not shining. Secondly, I ordered medium size, but I got large size also design is not same as compared to my online dress.
Furtheremore, actually I have a family funtion on 23rd Oct 2026, this is my brother's marriage party. Therefore, I need to replacement this dress urgently so that I can wear on that occassion. I do not have any other choice because I already spent my whole savings.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
The letter addresses all three required points and maintains a clear purpose: you identify the purchase, explain the colour, size and design problems, and state why you need a replacement before your brother’s wedding on 23 October. The details about the pink gown and its price make the complaint specific, while the urgency is supported by the upcoming family event. To make the request more fully developed, specify exactly what replacement you want—for example, the correct shade, medium size and advertised design—and give a clear deadline or ask about expedited delivery. A brief reference to the order number would also help the company act on the complaint.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The information follows a sensible sequence: purchase details come first, the faults are described next, and the reason for urgency and request follow. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and connectors such as “Moreover,” “Secondly,” and “Therefore” make the relationships between points clear. This gives the letter a coherent overall arrangement. However, some linking is mechanical or not quite suited to the relationship between ideas; “Moreover” does not add much before the dress description, and “Furtheremore” repeats the same linking style. Grouping the purchase details together and using more natural transitions would make progression smoother. The final request could also connect more directly to the specific faults already listed.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the complaint and its context, including “traditional Indian dress,” “dull,” “design,” “replacement,” and “family function.” These choices make the main problems understandable. However, the range is limited in places, and several word-choice, collocation and spelling errors reduce precision: “called as gown,” “I need to replacement,” “marriage party,” and “occassion” are not natural or accurate forms. “Baby pink” is understandable, but a more precise description of the shade would strengthen the complaint. Aim for standard customer-service language and check spelling carefully; more accurate phrases such as “request a replacement” and “wedding reception” would make the letter sound clearer and more professional.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The letter includes both simple statements and attempts at longer structures, such as “Therefore, I need to replacement this dress urgently so that I can wear on that occassion.” The intended meaning is generally recoverable, but errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms are frequent enough to affect fluency. For example, “I was not satisfied due to some problems” needs a clearer construction, and “The main problems in this dress the colour” is missing a verb. In “I ordered medium size, but I got large size also design is not same,” the clauses need articles and clearer punctuation or conjunctions. Practise complete sentence patterns and check articles, verb forms and clause boundaries before submitting.
