Student answer (Band 6.5)
In this modern world, people like to become friends with the person they met. Some people believed that it is a good thing to hanging out with work place friends on the evenings and the weekends. While the others think that we should keep our personal and professional life separate. We will discuss the both point of views with the relevant ideas.
On the one hand, some of the folks believed that it is great to socialised with our work place friends in our spare time. It is because that some people are really comfortable to make friends easily they love to go on a trip, shopping as well as on a dinner with them. Moreover, with the colleagues meet up they can create a positive bond and working in a team on a office environment and if they have any problems they can easily shared with them.
On the other hand, most of the people think that it is predominant to keep our working life thoroughly distinct from the social life. However, for some people they do not like any type of interfearance in their private life. They loved to spend most of the time with their family. Although, some of them avoid socializing with employees outside work to prevent favoritism and ensure everyone is treated fairly.
On conclusion, from my perspective, I believed that keeping our personal and professional space should be entirely different the reason behind this, an employee keeps conversations focused on work and does not share personal problems, family issues, or private matters with coworkers. But the final decision is from the individual circumstances.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'favoritism' is a strong point but is not fully explored or exemplified with a concrete scenario. The ideas are relevant, but the explanation remains at a general level, which prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. The position is consistent throughout, but the conclusion could have been more effectively linked to the main body arguments to provide a more comprehensive summary.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'Moreover', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical or forced, such as the use of 'Although' at the start of a sentence when it is not followed by a contrasting clause. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the final paragraph where the connection between the individual's circumstances and the previous arguments could be more fluidly established.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'predominant' and 'interfearance' (spelling error), though these are not always used with complete precision. Some word choices are slightly awkward, such as 'socialised with our work place friends' instead of 'socializing with colleagues'. While the range is sufficient to convey meaning, it lacks the flexibility and sophisticated collocation required for higher bands.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader, such as 'some people believed that it is a good thing to hanging out' (should be 'to hang out') and 'we will discuss the both point of views' (should be 'both points of view'). Subject-verb agreement and tense consistency are inconsistent throughout the text. While these errors do not impede overall communication, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of complex grammatical forms.
