Student answer (Band 6.5)
It's believed by many that Its good for workers to spend their leisure time with their colleagues on weekend, while other think office work and social life should separate. this essay will highlight the both views into upcoming paragraphs. In my view point they should give equal preference to social life and workers.
There are various reasons of that why worker should spend social life with colleagues. Firstly, It's help to create strong bonding between them and work environment become peaceful due to their understanding. Apart from that with this way they can share their personal life with each other and help to release their tension and stress. For example, Nowadays in foreign many companies organize a social events for employee relaxation.
On the other hand, some individuals think they should separate both office time and social life because Some Employees are not able to afford outing with their co-worker. So, they feel shy and also decrease their reputation and confidence. On the other word, in today era everyone are busy in their busy life they spend their whole week at office . They should spend time with family which helps to create strong bonding between them and increase better understanding .For instance, today majority of pupil spend their weekend with family and go for outing for strong bonding and relaxation.
In conclusion, although there are enormous benefits of spend social life with colleagues, i think they should utilise this leisure time with family because family is more important then workers and its also help to release their stress and make strong connection between them.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the task, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of bonding for the first view and financial or family-related constraints for the second. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For example, the argument regarding family bonding is mentioned in both the second body paragraph and the conclusion. To reach a higher band, you should aim to extend your arguments with more specific, nuanced examples rather than repeating the same points. The position is clear throughout, but the overall development lacks depth.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'Apart from that', and 'On the other hand' to signal transitions. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'On the other word' instead of 'In other words'. Additionally, some sentences lack smooth flow, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the vague use of 'they' in the introduction. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their antecedents would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'leisure time', 'work environment', and 'relaxation'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'majority of pupil' (should be 'pupils') and 'give equal preference to social life and workers' (which is unclear). The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, and there are minor errors in word formation that occasionally draw attention, though they do not impede communication. Expanding your range of synonyms and focusing on correct collocations will help improve this score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('everyone are busy', 'It's help'), article usage ('in foreign many companies'), and punctuation errors. While you attempt complex sentences, they are often faulty, which impacts the overall accuracy. To improve, focus on mastering basic subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles. Proofreading your work for these common slips would help increase the number of error-free sentences, which is essential for moving into the higher band categories.
