Student answer (Band 6.5)
It is often considered by some people that it is an innovative idea to hang out with fellow employees on evenings and the weekends. However, rest of the people think that keeping your work life and social life disconnect from each other. I strongly thinks that it is a good idea if we do not connect both.
On one hand, some individuals think that by connecting work life with personal life builds a stronger relationship with coworkers. It helps collegues to understand each other better on personal level. According to them, it gives them peace as it creates a friendly environment at the workplace. For example, It can also provide new growth opportunities as the workmates will not get jealous of each other.
On the other hand, many people thinks that it is better if we keep our work life seperate from social life. Firstly, it gives them their personal space, they can get time to focus on their hobbies, family and personal interests. It also helps individuals to prevent personal relationships from work conflicts.
I strongly agree that it is these two lifes should not be connected much as we act or behave differently on both places. It gives individuals to maintain some boundaries and privacy, because nowadays it is not useful to share much to others about your life. for example, if people have some personal issues with family or friends, their work should not get affected by this and if they have some work conflicts or problem at work place they should get some time to relax at home and do their own stuff.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of a friendly workplace versus the need for personal boundaries. However, the development is somewhat limited; for instance, the point about 'growth opportunities' is not fully explained, and the argument regarding 'jealousy' is slightly unclear. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your examples with more specific detail or logical reasoning to ensure the reader fully understands your perspective. Overall, the position is consistent throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs for each view, and a conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices like 'On one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'Firstly' to guide the reader. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where referencing is slightly unclear, such as the transition into the final paragraph. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows naturally from the previous one would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'innovative', 'workplace', and 'conflicts'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'keeping your work life and social life disconnect' (should be 'disconnected') and 'these two lifes' (should be 'lives'). You rely on fairly common vocabulary; to improve, try to incorporate more precise, less common lexical items related to professional and personal life balance. Spelling is generally accurate, but the word choice errors occasionally distract from the message.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the accuracy of your writing. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('many people thinks', 'I strongly thinks') and incorrect word forms ('disconnect' instead of 'disconnected', 'seperate' instead of 'separate'). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your main points, they are frequent enough to limit the score. Focusing on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency will significantly improve your accuracy.
