Student answer (Band 7.0)
People have mixed views about spending time evening and weekend time with colleagues whereas, other things it is important to maintain distance between social and work life. Well, both the views have their own aspects but according to my opinion it's better to maintain social distance from working life that will be further explained.
There is a common belief in many people that hanging out with workmates after working hours is a good idea. It happens because after spending most of the time together at work, colleagues often get comfortable with each other and they start to connect with there vibes and nature. For example, two employees sitting next to each other might have same interest of hobbies that they pursue like playing cricket or watching thriller movies. After knowing that their ideas are matching, they often start spending time after work hour by engaging in such activities as they find a person with similar interest.
However, it might not be the case with everyone as some argues that social life should be personalized from the company's atmosphere. Many individuals find spending time with family more peaceful and relaxing. They can share and get fresh ideas and thought with their own social group. For instance, a person having long drive nights with his wife or having a family dinner at their favourite restaurant make them forget their work stress and also make them aware about life of their loved ones. They here or get new piece of news or advice from the close ones.
To conclude, one can choose their own way of socializing by hanging out with work group or having a private after work life with friends and family. However, it is more important to care and here for the people who are around us after the working hour.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses all parts of the task. You have discussed both views and provided a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of shared interests for the first view and the importance of family time for the second. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat basic. To reach a higher band, you should aim to extend your arguments with more depth or nuanced analysis. For instance, you could discuss the potential impact of socializing on professional networking or the specific psychological benefits of work-life balance in more detail. The position is consistent throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Each paragraph has a central topic. You use some cohesive devices like 'However', 'For example', and 'To conclude' to link ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly repetitive. There are also minor issues with referencing and flow, such as the phrase 'They here or get new piece of news', which disrupts the logical progression of the sentence. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'workmates', 'company's atmosphere', and 'work stress'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'connect with there vibes' (should be 'their'), 'personalized from' (should be 'separated from'), and 'here for the people' (likely meant 'care for'). These errors do not impede communication, but they indicate a need for more precise vocabulary usage and better attention to collocations to reach a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement, articles, and word forms (e.g., 'some argues' instead of 'some argue', 'same interest of hobbies' instead of 'same hobbies'). There are also punctuation and spelling slips, such as 'there' instead of 'their' and 'here' instead of 'care'. While these errors rarely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy would be highly beneficial.
