Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some individuals believe that socialise with colleagues during evening and weekends is a best idea but others oppose it for various reasons. Other people think that they should keep their life private. I will explain both view with my own opinion in upcoming paragraphs.
On the one hand, some reasons are behind it why some people think that it is a good ideas to socialise with their colleagues in free time. First and foremost is, they can develop their skills by spending time with their employers because if they will invest some time with colleagues then they can easily learn latest skills which they may use for promotion or for achieve higher post in their company. Apart from this, they can work on their relations. Most of the time colleagues talk about their work due to which no body have the chance to talk with their colleagues for build a good friendship between boos and employees.
On the other hand, there are many reasons why some individuals are oppose it. firstly, everybody already devoting a lot of time for completing their tasks if they will start to spend some on weekend with their colleagues instead of their family then they cannot develop a good relationship between families. Even they can loose their families. Secondly, they can not reduce their stress. It is a human behaviour that they can not work constantly, they need to take a break for fresh mind. For example, colleagues usually need breaks on weekend and festivals.
To conclude, although there are some benefits socialise with colleagues on weekend but I believe that spend time with their families are more important.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'developing skills' by socializing with employers is a bit tenuous and lacks a concrete example. The points made about family relationships and stress are relevant but are expressed in a repetitive manner. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand on your points with more specific, illustrative examples rather than just stating general observations. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments need more depth and logical extension to fully satisfy the requirements of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'To conclude'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'some reasons are behind it why some people think'. Additionally, there are instances where the flow between sentences is disjointed, particularly in the second paragraph. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is quite basic and repetitive. You use words like 'colleagues', 'time', and 'reasons' frequently. There are also some errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'loose their families' (should be 'lose') and 'achieve higher post' (should be 'achieve a higher post'). To improve, you should try to incorporate more precise vocabulary related to the topic, such as 'work-life balance', 'professional networking', or 'personal boundaries'. Expanding your range of synonyms and focusing on correct collocations will help you achieve a higher score in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'no body have the chance'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'socialise with colleagues' instead of 'socialising'), and missing articles (e.g., 'for achieve higher post'). While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading your work to correct these recurring mistakes, particularly with verb tenses and article usage.
