Student answer (Band 6.5)
Many people believe that employees should spent their evening and weekends with their team members to build strong relationships, communication and comfortableness . While others argue that people should give that time to their family or themselves for better mental health. I strongly agree that people should spend their holiday and free time with their family and friends as this motivates them to complete the task more effectively.
One the one hand by spending free time with colleagues gives the opportunity to build strong relationships which helps them to complete tasks more efficiently and effectively. For example, In Korean traditions employees go on team dinners to have effective communication which also helps to build calm atmosphere at work. Secondly, interact with co-works increase the productivity of overall work as team exchanges idea with each other to make the work more successive.
On the other day, evening and weekends are the only days when employees can catch up with their family and friends. By going out with family they feel more refresh and energetic which motivates them to perform the task more actively. For example, companies provide employees paid vacation off which they use to spend time with family members or take rest form their daily hectic routine which gives them mental piece.
In my point of view companies should organize lunch meetings or day trips for their employees so they can utilize that time to communicate or build relationships with team members. As a result, they can spend free time with family or do meditation which helps them to feel more refresh and goal-oriented.
In conclusion, Although spending time with co-worker can increase the productivity and overall companies progress but companies should initiate work meetings and out gathering in work time so they can spend their holidays with their families.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the mention of team bonding and the importance of work-life balance. However, some arguments are slightly under-developed; for instance, the explanation of how team dinners lead to a 'calm atmosphere' could be more specific. The position is consistent throughout the essay. To reach a higher band, ensure that each supporting example is more deeply explored to fully justify the claims made, rather than relying on brief mentions.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different viewpoints. Cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand', 'Secondly', and 'In conclusion' are used to guide the reader. However, there are some instances of awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions, such as 'On the other day', which is an incorrect collocation for 'On the other hand'. While the progression of ideas is generally clear, the use of cohesive devices could be more natural and varied to improve the flow between sentences.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'goal-oriented' and 'hectic routine'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'comfortableness' instead of 'comfort', 'successive' instead of 'successful', and 'mental piece' instead of 'mental peace'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do indicate a need for more precise control over word forms and collocations to reach a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, particularly with verb forms and prepositions, such as 'should spent' instead of 'should spend', 'interact with co-works' instead of 'interacting with co-workers', and 'feel more refresh' instead of 'feel more refreshed'. While the meaning remains clear, these frequent errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevent the essay from achieving a higher score. Increasing the variety of complex structures while ensuring accuracy in verb tense and agreement would significantly improve this score.
