Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The essay addresses both views and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments regarding the benefits of socialising are somewhat disjointed, and the discussion on introversion is underdeveloped. The connection between socialising and 'incompletion of work' is not clearly explained, making the logic difficult to follow. To improve, you should provide more specific examples or clearer reasoning to support your points. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not fully summarise the main arguments presented in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the flow between and within them is often mechanical or unclear. While you use some cohesive devices like 'To initiate with' and 'To conclude that', they are sometimes used incorrectly or sound unnatural. The referencing is occasionally confusing, such as in the second paragraph where the link between 'socialism' and 'incompletion of work' lacks a clear logical transition. The progression of ideas is hindered by awkward phrasing, which makes it difficult for the reader to follow your argument smoothly throughout the text.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often inaccurate. You frequently use words incorrectly, such as 'socialism' when you mean 'socialising' or 'social interaction'. Phrases like 'reference of known individual' and 'incorporation into the growth' are unnatural and impede clarity. There is a lack of variety in your word choice, and you rely on basic structures to convey your meaning. To reach a higher band, you need to focus on using words in their correct context and expanding your range of collocations related to the workplace and social life.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the essay, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('others has give', 'views are depends'), article usage, and sentence structure. Many sentences are fragmented or poorly constructed, such as 'Some people who do their job due to their reference of known individual.' While you attempt to use complex sentences, these are often faulty and contain errors that can cause some difficulty for the reader. Improving your control over basic sentence construction and verb tenses is essential for achieving a higher score.
