working life bound people to spend more time of their day with colleges, get comfortable and become friends

discuss problems at work, provide a person who can relate your feeling and frustration at work

work politics are the problem, a wrong word for seniors could get one in trouble. And an argument over a drink could bring the anger at work.

In our modern world, an individual ought to spend most of the day at work with the same people and company. Some opinions support that people should meet co-workers outside of work, while others argue that blending personal and professional life together could be a disaster. I believe that with a right balance a person can enjoy and socialise the good company of a colleague without compromising the relationship at work.

Education and employment have risen as our society developed over the centuries, limiting an individual's life mostly at work. Spending time around same people every day gives birth to new friendships which sometimes become hostile if carried out after the work. Like, a hilarious comment on any senior or an argument with a colleague if communicated and carried on at the workplace, could hamper the work relationships and could even affect carrier growth.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The first paragraph is a list of notes rather than a fully developed argument, and the conclusion is incomplete, cutting off mid-sentence. While the main body paragraphs provide relevant points regarding the risks of office politics and the benefits of workplace support, the lack of a finished conclusion significantly impacts the overall task completion. To improve, ensure that all arguments are fully expanded into complete sentences and that the essay structure is finalized before the end of the time limit.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas from the introduction to the body paragraphs. Cohesive devices such as 'In contrast' and 'For example' are used to link ideas. However, the cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and the abrupt ending of the essay disrupts the flow of the final paragraph. The use of referencing is generally clear, but the transition between the initial bullet-point style notes and the formal essay structure is jarring. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring a complete, cohesive conclusion would raise this score.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the student to express ideas about professional relationships and workplace dynamics. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'hamper' and 'efficiency', which are used correctly. However, there are instances of awkward phrasing and minor errors, such as 'carrier growth' (career growth) and 'a people who get along' (people who get along). The range is sufficient to convey meaning, but more precise and varied word choices would be needed to reach a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('a people who get along') and tense inconsistencies ('if that relationship carried out'). Punctuation is generally functional, but the incomplete final sentence is a significant error in structure. To improve, the student should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and ensuring that complex sentences are constructed with correct verb forms and articles.
