Student answer (Band 6.0)
The idea of socializing with others employees after work or during the evening time is Quite challenging. Although some people think that it is better to maintain distance from colleagues after work and some people oppose this idea with the view of their personal life. I will strongly opine my favor with the latter view, and the reason I will discuss now.
Perhaps people opposing the idea of socializing highlights the family bounds of the employee and, their personal relation will suffer significantly, contributing to the breakdown of family privacy. For instance, amount of time spending after work with colleagues generally effects the time table of employees by utilizing that on restaurants or bar rather than spending with their children. Not only it will breaking the bonds with their pupils but also decreases the emotions and feeling for them as their parents.
However, it is also essential to recognize the huge benefits which it offers. Employees , who are from different country, often find this time valuable instead of living alone in their apartment or room. Due to the position or their rank of the job the company transferred them to all over the world, according to the requirments of the works. For example, Linamar corporation, a multi national company based in Canada, hires welders all over the world and employed them in the single location. So, in this manner it is hard for them to visit their house regularly, for that circumstance they can better enjoy with their team mates after the work.
To summarise, I will strongly opine my view in the favour of keeping the personal life secret.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The argument regarding family life is a bit repetitive, and the example provided for the opposing view (Linamar corporation) is slightly tangential, as it focuses more on the difficulties of expatriate life rather than the social benefits of workplace bonding. The conclusion is brief and does not fully synthesize the points discussed. To reach a higher band, ensure that each body paragraph provides a more balanced and logical extension of the main idea, ensuring the examples directly support the topic sentences.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate. For example, the transition 'Not only it will breaking' is grammatically incorrect and disrupts the flow. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the use of 'that circumstance' in the third paragraph. While the overall structure is coherent, the lack of sophisticated linking words and the occasional awkward phrasing in transitions prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Improving the variety and precision of cohesive devices would enhance the readability.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors. Phrases like 'family bounds' (should be 'bonds'), 'utilizing that on restaurants', and 'keeping the personal life secret' (should be 'separate') indicate a limited control over collocations. While the student attempts to use some topic-specific vocabulary, the errors occasionally cause the reader to pause. To improve, focus on learning word families and common collocations related to work-life balance, and ensure that words are used in their correct context rather than relying on direct translations or approximate synonyms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there is a high frequency of grammatical errors. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('people... highlights'), incorrect verb forms ('it will breaking'), and awkward sentence construction ('the reason I will discuss now'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas and capitalization errors. While the meaning is generally clear, the persistent errors in basic grammar and sentence structure impede the overall fluency of the writing. Focusing on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and consistent verb tenses would significantly improve the accuracy of the response.
