Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent times, everyone is becoming so introvert. There are many individuals believe that it is appropriate to have healthy discussion with your working partners after office hours. While other argue that it is vital to keep your professional life totally private. This essay will discuss both sides of the argument and explain why I believe that it would be best part to be socialize with your coworkers.
At first, nowadays people want their life to be more private whether it is home or office. Having a good professional relation with your teammates can feel you like a home. Somedays are very rough and stressful at work, if you have decent working partners, then it will be so helpful for both the parties to share their emotions, and feel stress free from work. Secondly, every employee in the work does not have same skills and potential as other workers. For example, if you have good talking terms with your colleagues, it can improve your skill set and gain your knowledge at the same time.
However, other people argue that, an employee has to be more professional at work rather than build up any relation with workers. keeping your work-life private can prevent fight or any heated situation with associates. This can be benefit for those humans, who have issues with their anger. Furthermore, many individuals in the workplace just come for money, those workers do not want any conversation with anyone, which can be so boring and selfish as a person.
In summary, every topic has pros and cons. There are many advantages of having a good relation with your colleagues after office such as, helping to improve skills, emotional support and stress free environment. While being less socially can prevent fights and a worker can make good money. In my opinion, money is not everything and I would like to connect with other employees as well, that sounds more beneficial.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of emotional support versus the desire for professional boundaries. However, the development is somewhat limited; for instance, the point about 'improving skill sets' through socialising is mentioned but not fully explained or supported with a concrete example. The position is consistent throughout, but the arguments could be more deeply explored to reach a higher band. Overall, the response is relevant and meets the requirements of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, each with a central topic. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'At first,' 'Secondly,' 'However,' and 'In summary,' though some are used mechanically or slightly incorrectly (e.g., 'At first' is not the best choice for introducing the first main point). Referencing is generally clear, though some transitions between sentences feel abrupt. The progression of ideas is logical, moving from the benefits of socialising to the counter-argument and finally the conclusion. To improve, the student should focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that the flow between sentences is more natural.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the student to convey their meaning clearly. There are some attempts at less common collocations, such as 'professional relation' and 'heated situation.' However, there are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'everyone is becoming so introvert' (should be 'introverted'), 'best part to be socialize' (should be 'best approach to socialise'), and 'being less socially' (should be 'being less social'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the range and precision of the language used.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The student uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('There are many individuals believe'), article usage, and word forms ('can feel you like a home' instead of 'can make you feel at home'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some errors with comma placement. The frequency of these errors suggests that the student has not yet mastered complex structures, though they do not prevent the reader from understanding the intended message.
