Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both sides of the argument and provides a personal opinion, fulfilling the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'exploiting weaknesses' is mentioned but not clearly explained or supported with a concrete example. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not fully synthesize the points discussed. To improve, you should aim to expand on your reasoning with more specific examples and ensure your position is clearly articulated throughout the essay rather than just in the introduction and conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'In addition' and 'Furthermore' are used, but the flow between sentences is sometimes disjointed. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'For example, people from the same place bonding their surroundings limited because they all have the same topis'. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly enhance the logical progression of your ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. There are several instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'live more lively' and 'wishful things', which hinder clarity. Additionally, there are spelling errors like 'beleive', 'topis', and 'prsonal'. To achieve a higher score, you should focus on using more sophisticated collocations and ensuring accurate spelling. Expanding your range of vocabulary to include more topic-specific terms related to workplace dynamics and social interaction would also be beneficial.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Issues include incorrect verb forms ('they can socialized'), missing articles, and punctuation errors, such as the placement of periods before conjunctions like 'however'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and consistent punctuation will help improve the accuracy of your writing.
