Student answer (Band 6.0)
Many individuals likes to hangout with their officemates after office hours mostly in the evenings and weekends. While other wants to divide both personal life and working life. In this essay I will discuss both the views and provide my opinion on this.
On the one hand, Working individuals are more likely to go outside with their colleagues. Because this is the best time to know about their personality and behaviour. Going outside with them can increase trust and friendships towards each other. In addition, each employee have a one motive to come office regularly because office environment changes after certain parties after office hours and it becomes a part of family as a result, everyone became more focused and concentrated towards work.
On the other hand, few people do not want to include themselves into any party or get together after office hours. These people thinks that work and personal life must be divided. Because these individuals balance their working life and personal life. thus most of the people spending 9 to 10 hours in the office and barely they have time for their loved onces, family or relatives. Working individuals spent their time with them can increase love and careness of each family members.
According to my point of view, After office hours going outside with the employess can you a much Information about individual's personality, behaviour how them talk with the strangers and also spending times with them can increase level of trust and they became a family. While it is also important that divide the both of things work and social life respectively. Spend free times with loved once and family is cruciel part of the working individuals. However, People can choose alternative days for going outside with their colleagues and also they can introduce their Wife or Husband to them.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both perspectives and providing a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that socialising increases trust, the explanation remains superficial. Similarly, the argument for keeping work and life separate is clear but lacks depth in terms of the psychological or professional benefits. To improve, you should expand on your points with more specific examples or logical consequences. For instance, explaining how 'work-life balance' prevents burnout would strengthen your argument significantly. The position is consistent throughout, but the overall development is at a Band 6 level.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use basic cohesive devices like 'On the one hand', 'On the other hand', and 'In addition' to signal shifts in your argument. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'thus most of the people' or 'According to my point of view, After office hours...'. The flow between sentences is sometimes interrupted by grammatical errors, which makes the progression of ideas feel a bit disjointed. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used with greater precision would help move this into a higher band.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some relevant topic-specific terms like 'office hours', 'work-life balance', and 'colleagues'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'careness' (instead of 'care'), 'loved onces' (spelling error: 'ones'), and 'cruciel' (spelling error: 'crucial'). The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited, relying on repetitive phrasing. To achieve a higher score, you should aim to use more precise academic vocabulary and ensure correct spelling and word formation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Many individuals likes', 'each employee have'), incorrect verb forms ('everyone became more focused'), and awkward phrasing ('can you a much Information'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and sentence fragments. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage would be a great next step.
