Student answer (Band 6.0)
In our everyday life it is really important to socialise weather we are working as an individual or in a team. While individuals may have different perspective weather we should be social in work place or not. In my opinion it is a good idea to socialise with work fellows when ever we have time.
Being socialise comes with a lots of advantages in our everyday life. Specially mingling with peers brings positive growth in our work place. We can discuss our point of view with each other and discover potential solution of a particular issue. Socialization has another benefit, and that is making connections. Hanging out with colleagues during free time can make new lobbying and connections. We all know it is really important to make new networks to insure progress in our life. Furthermore, associating with others works as a medicine for depression and anxiety. It keeps our mental health sound and our mind fresh.
Even though get togethers are beneficial in many ways, some people may disagree in this particular point. Individuals may think the time spent on socializing may be used to do something more productive and valuable. Some people prefer to keep the work life completely separate from the social life. This views may bring complications in the relationship with the teem-mates. Fraternising with associates less often can significantly effect on problem solving capabilities while doing the opposite can improve it as we discussed earlier.
Socializing plays a vital role in our everyday working environment. A helpful relationship among the colleagues is only possible by socializing on our spare time.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the benefits of networking and mental health, and the counter-argument regarding productivity is also included. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, the point about 'lobbying' is slightly unclear in this context, and the explanation of why some prefer to keep work and life separate could be more deeply explored. The position is consistent throughout, but the overall depth of argumentation is more characteristic of a Band 6.0 response.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Furthermore', 'Even though', and 'In my opinion', which help guide the reader. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly repetitive. There are also minor issues with referencing; for instance, 'This views' (referring to the previous sentence) is grammatically incorrect and disrupts the flow. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the transition between the counter-argument and the conclusion could be smoother to improve the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'fraternising' and 'mingling', which is positive. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'make new lobbying', 'insure progress' (should be 'ensure'), and 'effect on' (should be 'affect'). These errors do not impede communication, but they indicate a limited range of sophisticated vocabulary and occasional inaccuracies in word choice.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'weather we are working' (should be 'whether'), 'Being socialise' (should be 'Socialising'), 'this particular point' (should be 'on this point'), and 'teem-mates' (spelling error). Additionally, there are issues with subject-verb agreement and article usage. While the writer attempts complex structures, the frequency of errors is noticeable and occasionally distracts the reader, though they do not prevent the message from being understood.
