Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's world people are becoming workaholics due to the demand of more things. however, It is opined by some by spending time with work employees on weekends is best way to celebrate days. while some say the personal life should be separate from working life. Now I will discuss both sides of the arguments in upcoming paragraphs along with my personal ideas.
To begin with, due to the modernized world, people have a lot of burden on their mind related to their personal life and workload, so in this situation by spending some quality time with their friends they can feel relax and can share their worries with them. As a result, it will give them relief from anxiety , and tensions. Research has shown that people who like to spend some quality time outside may feel fresh and less stressed. These mental benefits can positively impact their performance on office and at home.
Turning to second side,There are number of reasons why a person should keep their life private. first and foremost reason is it will leek their personl things by getting involved with other people. for example, if someone is having a dinner with his or her friend with doing a lot of gossips can become the reason of leakage the private things. While sharing some personal habits and life realted things can give opportunity to second people to talk about you on any time which could become the danger for person.
In conclusion, having discussed both sides of the viewpoints I conclude that spending a precious time with work colleagues not only give you new experience but also reduce the whole day workload. But a person should not openly talk about their private life in front of any person.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views on socialising with work colleagues and providing a personal opinion, placing the student around Band 6. The main ideas are relevant, such as the mental health benefits of socialising and the privacy risks of mixing work and social spheres. However, some ideas are under-developed or expressed vaguely, such as the mention of 'demand of more things' and general assertions about leaking personal information. The position is clear throughout, but the depth of extension is somewhat limited, which aligns with the Band 6 descriptor where some parts of the task are addressed more fully than others.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear paragraph structure including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'To begin with', 'As a result', and 'In conclusion', but some transitions are mechanical or somewhat unnatural (e.g., 'Turning to second side'). Referencing and substitution occasionally falter, for instance when referring to 'second people' or 'the danger for person', which makes the logical progression slightly strained in places. Paragraphing is used sufficiently and appropriately, but the management of internal cohesion limits the score to Band 5.5, rounded to 6.0 based on overall structural organization.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The student demonstrates an adequate vocabulary range for the task, attempting some less common words and phrases like 'workaholics', 'modernized world', and 'anxiety and tensions'. However, there are frequent word choice and collocation errors, such as 'work employees' instead of 'colleagues', 'leek' instead of 'leak', 'personl things', and 'life realted things'. While these errors do not severely impede overall communication, they cause noticeable distraction and prevent the response from reaching a higher band. Spelling errors like 'leek' and 'personl' further highlight limitations in lexical control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, utilizing relative clauses and conditional structures (e.g., 'Research has shown that people who like to spend some quality time outside may feel fresh'). However, there are numerous grammatical errors throughout the text, including missing articles ('in upcoming paragraphs', 'on office'), incorrect prepositions ('on weekends' vs 'at weekends'), and awkward phrasing ('if someone is having a dinner with his or her friend with doing a lot of gossips'). Punctuation and capitalization are also faulty in several places (e.g., lowercase 'however', comma splices). These errors frequently disrupt the flow, placing the grammar securely in the Band 5 category.
