NTRODUCTION

Socialize with work colleagues during evenings and weekends has become a matter of considerable debate in contemporary society. While there are valid arguments on both sides, I believe that it is a positive development. This essay will examine the key reasons behind this view and discuss its broader implications.

One significant reason is that it can have a direct impact on people's physical and mental well-being. This is largely because better office environment feels like a family. Furthermore, a person feels more valuable, which can potentially lead to more satisfied at work. For instance, if staff members can be friend then work stress can be reduced automatically . Consequently, this can contribute to a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.

Another compelling argument is that it can have broader implications for society as a whole. More specifically, when you have similar interests with office members. Moreover, this can strengthen social connections, improve people's quality of life and contribute to a more stable community. A clear example of this can be seen in fun activities perform in office create more happier environment. As a result, everyone feels stressless.

However, it is equally important to acknowledge the opposing perspective. Those who support private time. This is primarily because of toxic environment of office. Nevertheless, I would argue that relationship between employees are not in good shape, particularly because of the policies of office.

In conclusion, while there are valid arguments concerning spending time with office staff outside the office, I believe that it is a great approach. Ultimately, a balanced approach that takes into account people's health, social well-being and long-term interests is the most appropriate way forward.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views on socialising with work colleagues and providing a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive in places. For example, in the second body paragraph, the transition 'if staff members can be friend then work stress can be reduced automatically' is quite simplistic and lacks concrete elaboration. Similarly, the third paragraph offers general statements like 'fun activities perform in office create more happier environment' without deep exploration of the broader societal implications requested in the task. While a clear position is maintained throughout the essay, the supporting arguments would benefit from greater depth and more specific examples from personal knowledge or experience. Consequently, the task achievement fits comfortably into Band 6.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a recognisable introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion, though paragraphing conventions are slightly disrupted by the literal inclusion of an 'INTRODUCTION' heading. Logical progression is generally maintained, but cohesive devices are sometimes mechanical or faulty. For instance, the transition 'More specifically, when you have similar interests with office members. Moreover, this can strengthen social connections' functions as a sentence fragment rather than a fully developed clause linked to the main thread. Additionally, referencing is occasionally unclear, as seen in the incomplete structure of the fourth paragraph: 'Those who support private time. This is primarily because of toxic environment of office.' Despite these cohesion glitches, the overall direction of the argument remains understandable, supporting a Band 6 score.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The student demonstrates an adequate vocabulary range for the task, attempting some less common lexical items such as 'contemporary society', 'implications', and 'well-being'. However, there are noticeable word choice and collocation errors that hinder precision, such as 'Socialize with work colleagues during evenings and weekends has become' (where a gerund form 'Socialising' is required), 'lead to more satisfied at work' (grammatically awkward), and 'more happier environment' (double comparative error). Despite these limitations in lexical control, the vocabulary used is sufficient to convey the general message without severely impeding communication, aligning with the descriptors for Band 6.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response features a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but grammatical accuracy is inconsistent. There are several frequent errors in sentence structure and word formation. For example, the opening sentence 'Socialize with work colleagues during evenings and weekends has become' uses an incorrect subject verb form. Other errors include missing articles or prepositions, such as 'better office environment', 'policies of office', and 'toxic environment of office'. Furthermore, fragments such as 'Those who support private time' lack a main verb. Although simpler sentences are generally controlled, attempts at more complex structures frequently result in grammatical slips. These errors occasionally require the reader to re-read, but they rarely obscure meaning completely, placing this performance at Band 5.5.
