Student answer (Band 5.5)
In a working place many individuals thinks to become socialise with their colleagues and other staff during free time, while others believe that its good for a person to separate their both personal and profrssional life. Both personalitires have their own point but In my opeinion I believe that people should socialise with each other , which strengthen their relations and happily enjoy their work with their friends.
To commence with, in many companies colleagues prefer to talk with each other in evenings or on weekends. This is very good idea because of this they know eachother after works, they get idea that what their staff like, dislike, their special talent and they also make a good bond with eachother.Apart from this in work place because of hactic schedule some time they get frustrated or get depressed so to make a refresh mind a conversation with colleague plays vital role.
Additionally, in work place if a person faces some problems so they can easily ask to their colleague without any hasitation if they have good relations, its alos beneficial for comapny and firm as well. Apart from this if they have some problems in their personal life related family and finance so they can get advice of their colleagues, so with the problems of professional life they also solve their personal problems in company.
However, many individuals think that they should not mix their social life with colleagues , because they think that sometimes we can't take a wide decision and we can't force work to colleagues if we have good relation, which has negative effect on performace of company.
In conclusion, many people think that they should not mix their both life in workplace because of detrimential effects in the company , but I believe that to get socialize with colleagues makes stronger bond and people enjoy their work.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both views regarding socialising with colleagues versus keeping work and social life separate, and clearly states the writer's personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. Ideas are presented and extended, such as discussing how socialising can reduce work-related frustration and help colleagues support each other with personal problems. However, the development of ideas tends to be slightly repetitive, and the counter-argument regarding potential negative impacts on company performance is somewhat underdeveloped. While the task is addressed well enough, more depth in exploring the implications of each view would elevate the response further. Overall, the requirements of the task are met adequately, aligning with a Band 6.0 descriptor.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear logical progression. The writer uses standard transitional markers to structure the response, such as 'To commence with', 'Additionally', 'However', and 'In conclusion'. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate different arguments and viewpoints. However, cohesion is occasionally mechanical or faulty, and referencing is not always completely clear, such as in sentences where pronoun use or linking phrases feel slightly disjointed (e.g., 'so with the problems of professional life they also solve their personal problems'). Despite these minor issues, the progression of ideas remains easy to follow throughout, earning a solid Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully attempting less common items and phrases such as 'hactic schedule', 'special talent', and 'detrimental effects'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, including 'thinks to become socialise' instead of 'think about socialising', 'profrssional' for professional, 'opeinion', 'hasitation', and 'alos'. While these errors do not severely impede communication, they recur frequently enough to prevent the response from reaching a higher band. The vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the intended meaning, matching the criteria for a Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some capability in constructing longer sentences with subordinate clauses (e.g., 'In a working place many individuals thinks to become socialise... while others believe that its good...'). However, there are frequent grammatical and punctuation errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('individuals thinks', 'they get idea'), missing articles ('in work place'), and incorrect verb forms ('to make a refresh mind'). While these errors rarely completely obscure the meaning, their frequency is noticeable and affects the overall accuracy of the writing. This performance is characteristic of a Band 5.0.
