Student answer (Band 5.0)
Few individuals have opinion that it's a better idea to socialise with work colleagues during evenings and weekends, on the other hand, rest of the individuals have completely different opinion that, it's crucial to keep personal and professional life seperate.
My take one this situtation is that it completely depends on the person nature. As, I am the kind of person who keep distance from people as much as I can. So, I am on both side.
As we all know that we all are going through several difficulities in our life so, it is important for us to sit in people and listen to them because we never know when somebody is dealing with problen and we are helping them just by listening them.
For example, I heard that people have conflicts in their office but because everybody spend time after office, it is easy for them to resolve it and because they have good bonding, it also reflects in their work positively.
On the other hand, there are some people who are introverts, so there social battery is very low, as they feel drained after spending time with people, as they are super sensitive so they can't handle people's energy, in that case, they avoid sharing their personal life with people, especially at work.
In conclusion, it depends on person nature and their personal prefrence, but, I am not the kind of person who would like to spend time with work colleagues during evenings and weekends.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response discusses both views and attempts to provide an opinion ('My take one this situtation is that it completely depends on the person nature'). However, the task achievement is constrained by two main factors. First, the response falls slightly short of the 250-word minimum, containing 248 words, which impacts the full development of ideas. Second, the writer contradicts their initial stance of considering 'both sides' by stating in the conclusion, 'I am not the kind of person who would like to spend time with work colleagues during evenings and weekends.' While ideas are presented, such as the benefits of socialising for resolving conflicts and the need for introverts to recharge, they remain somewhat limited and under-developed, aligning with a Band 5 performance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The text is organised into paragraphs, with an introduction, body paragraphs addressing different viewpoints, and a conclusion. However, overall progression is hindered by repetitive phrasing and weak cohesive devices. For instance, sentences are frequently linked with basic connectors like 'As' and 'because', or run together with comma splices (e.g., 'As we all know that we all are going through several difficulities in our life so, it is important...'). Paragraphing is attempted, but paragraph 2 is a single, poorly integrated sentence ('My take one this situtation...'). Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the mechanical use of cohesive devices places this response securely at Band 5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is relatively basic and repetitive, with words like 'person', 'people', and 'life' recurring frequently. There are noticeable lexical errors and awkward collocations, such as 'person nature' instead of 'personality' or 'nature of the individual', and spelling mistakes like 'seperate' instead of 'separate', 'difficulities', 'problen', and 'prefrence'. While the writer attempts some less common vocabulary such as 'introverts' and 'social battery', the limited range and frequent inaccuracies in word choice and spelling cause some difficulty for the reader, fitting the Band 5 descriptor.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but attempts at complex structures are frequently faulty. There are multiple grammatical errors, including punctuation issues, run-on sentences, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'My take one this situtation', 'so, it is important for us to sit in people', 'listening them' instead of 'listening to them', and 'their social battery is very low'). The frequent errors in grammar and punctuation can cause difficulty for the reader and prevent the text from achieving a higher band, placing it at a Band 5 level.
