Student answer (Band 6.5)
Many individuals believed that building social connections with their team mates during evenings and weekends are the best option. While, some believe that social life should be separate from professional career. In this essay I'm going to shed some lights on both point of views to explaine further.
There are plenty of evidence that support this statement. Individulal who are extrovert they are more likely to spend time outside of working hours with their colleagues. Also, Individuals with small friend circle finds this as an opportunity to grow and buid social network. There are several other advantages to this view point for instance, individuals who hang out together on weekends or in the evenings they build strong emotional connections along with mutual undustanding at workplace. Furthermore, It's also offers support whenever you are feeling low and stressed.
On the other hand, few argued that social and professional life should not be put together to avoid conflicts at workplace. Moreover, people avoid to build deeper connection with their colleagues due to privacy, conflicts at workplace and maintain proffessionalism at workplace. It's often seen that when professional and social life collaborate together it results in many difficulties to perform job duties effectively. For example, at many workplaces individuals those having strong connections with their managers burden with less work as compared to those who avoid social gatherings outside of the work.
In conclusion, Both the opinions serve their own prons and cons and equally significant to maintain proffessionalism and emotional support. However, I personally believe that making personal life separate from proffessional life is a wise decision to avoid conflicts and maintain personal privacy at work.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views on socialising with colleagues and providing a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. The ideas are generally relevant, covering benefits such as emotional support and networking, as well as drawbacks like privacy concerns and workplace conflicts. However, some ideas tend to over-generalise or remain slightly under-developed, such as the claim about managers showing favouritism. The position is maintained throughout, but the overall depth of the arguments places this firmly in the Band 6 or 7 range. Because all parts of the task are addressed with a clear position and supported ideas, a score of 6.5 is appropriate, moving towards Band 7 as development becomes more thorough and precise.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is divided into logical paragraphs with an introduction, two body paragraphs discussing opposing views, and a conclusion. There is a clear overall progression of ideas, and cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusion' are used to guide the reader through the text. However, some referencing is slightly clunky, and sentence structures occasionally disrupt the natural flow, such as 'In this essay I'm going to shed some lights on both point of views to explaine further.' Paragraphing is used sufficiently and appropriately, but the mechanical nature of some transitions prevents the response from achieving a higher band. Overall, the essay demonstrates a coherent arrangement that meets the requirements for a Band 6.5 score.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting less common terms such as 'professional career', 'emotional connections', and 'privacy'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice errors throughout the text, including 'individulal' instead of 'individuals', 'undustanding' instead of 'understanding', 'proffessionalism' instead of 'professionalism', and 'prons' instead of 'pros'. Furthermore, phrases like 'shed some lights' contain minor inaccuracies. While these errors do not impede communication, they restrict the lexical score. The writer shows an understanding of topic-specific vocabulary, but control over spelling and collocation requires improvement, reflecting a solid Band 6 performance.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The response demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting relative clauses and conditional structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'Many individuals believed that... are the best option', 'Individulal who are extrovert they are more likely', and 'individuals those having strong connections'. Subject-verb agreement issues and redundant pronouns are recurrent. Despite these errors, the meaning remains clear and communication is rarely impeded. Punctuation is generally acceptable, though capitalization and comma placement need refinement. This profile corresponds well to a Band 6 score, where a mix of structures is present alongside persistent non-systematic errors.
