Student answer (Band 6.5)
There are different opinions about socialising with the society and humans. Some people believe that spending with the colleagues at the after sunset and weekends to be better option, while others think that always keep a fence between social life and the corprate life. In my opinion, having a quality time with the workers always feel relaxed and comfortable. This essay i will explain both perspectvies.
On the one hand, some people believe that having a separate life is important. They argue that keeping boundaries will help After spending many hours at work, employees may want to spend their free time with family and close friends. They may also need time to relax and enjoy their own hobbies. Furthermore, socialising too much with colleagues can sometimes create uncomfortable situations, especially if personal problems or disagreements affect professional relationships.
On the other hand, socialising with work colleagues can help employees build stronger relationships. Spending time together in a relaxed environment allows colleagues to communicate more openly and understand each other better. As a result, they may cooperate more effectively at work and feel more comfortable asking each other for help. For example, employees who occasionally have dinner together or participate in social activities may develop better teamwork. Moreover, spending time with colleagues can be enjoyable and can help people reduce stress after a busy working day.
In conclusion, socialising with colleagues can improve workplace relationships and teamwork, whereas keeping work and personal life separate can provide privacy and relaxation. I believe that a balance between the two is the most practical approach.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views on socialising with colleagues and providing a clear personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. Ideas are relevant and extended, particularly in the body paragraphs where reasons and examples regarding relationships, stress, and privacy are explored. However, the introduction contains some awkward phrasing and minor misunderstandings of natural vocabulary (e.g., 'socialising with the society and humans', 'the corprate life'). Despite these lexical infelicities in the opening, the core task requirements are fulfilled well, matching the criteria for Band 6.5 to 7.0. Given the solid development of ideas in the main body paragraphs, this sits comfortably at Band 6.5.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The essay is logically organised with a clear overall progression. It follows a standard four-paragraph structure with a clear introduction, two distinct body paragraphs discussing opposing views, and a balanced conclusion. Cohesive devices are used effectively to guide the reader ('On the one hand', 'On the other hand', 'As a result', 'Moreover', 'In conclusion'). Paragraphing is used appropriately and logically. Although referencing is occasionally slightly loose in the opening, the overall arrangement is coherent and cohesive devices are generally handled well, warranting a Band 7.0.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully using terms such as 'professional relationships', 'relaxed environment', 'communicate more openly', and 'privacy and relaxation'. However, there are noticeable lexical errors and awkward collocations, particularly in the introduction, such as 'socialising with the society and humans', 'at the after sunset', and the spelling error 'corprate'. These errors occasionally impede natural flow, though the vocabulary in the body paragraphs is more standard and appropriate, placing the response at a Band 6.0.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures with varying degrees of success. There are successful complex structures, such as 'especially if personal problems or disagreements affect professional relationships' and 'employees who occasionally have dinner together or participate in social activities may develop better teamwork.' However, grammar and syntax errors occur, such as 'spending with the colleagues at the after sunset and weekends to be better option', 'always keep a fence', and an incomplete sentence fragment in the second paragraph ('They argue that keeping boundaries will help'). These errors do not completely obscure meaning, but they prevent the essay from reaching a higher band, aligning best with Band 6.0.
