Student answer (Band 5.0)
There is no doubt that society is divided into two point of view. This is a debateable issue among the people as some individuals think that wheather it's good idea to socialise with work colleagues during evening and weekends or separate from socail life . This essay will discuss both perspectives before reaching a conclusion .
On the one side, there are some masses think that its a good idea to work with colleagues . The first and the foremost reason is that they can learn many things in the gruop . To explain it more, they gain more ideas about any concept beacuse of this , they know that what is wrong and right for them . For example , with the help of colleagues they may learn how to communicate and how to cooperate with citizens . As a result , it is a beneficial for individuals.
On the other side , it is imoportant that to keep working life separate from social life because social life is more different from working life some people feel uncomfortable when they go outside however some people like to talk with them about their work .In other words , people go outside with their colleagues beacuse they want to break from their busy schedule .
To conclude, both views has own perspectives ,however I agree with the later view because of various reasons which cannot be ignored .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses both views required by the prompt and presents a clear position in the conclusion, agreeing with the view that working life should be kept separate from social life. Ideas are introduced, such as learning communication skills in groups or needing a break from a busy schedule, but they are underdeveloped and lack sufficient supporting examples. Furthermore, the response suffers from a length penalty, as it contains only 236 words, falling short of the 250-word minimum requirement specified for Task 2. Consequently, the development is limited and the task is only partially addressed in terms of depth, aligning the response with a band 5.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The essay is divided into four paragraphs with a clear introduction and conclusion. However, the overall progression is somewhat disjointed. While basic cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one side', 'On the other side', and 'To conclude', their application is mechanical. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and paragraphing, although present, contains abrupt transitions between ideas. For instance, the second body paragraph jumps quickly from learning in groups to communication without smooth logical bridges. Overall organisation is present, but cohesion is faulty and repetitive, placing this criterion at a band 5.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive throughout the essay, with frequent instances of inappropriate word choice, such as writing 'two point of view' instead of 'points of view', and 'masses think' instead of 'people think'. Spelling errors also occur, such as 'debateable', 'wheather', 'gruop', 'beacuse', 'imoportant', and 'later' instead of 'latter'. The range of vocabulary is limited and minimally adequate for the task, with noticeable errors that occasionally cause the reader some difficulty in following the precise meaning. This corresponds to a band 5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.0
The essay displays a very limited range of grammatical structures. While there are some attempts at complex sentences, they are frequently faulty, such as 'some individuals think that wheather it's good idea to socialise... or separate from socail life'. Punctuation errors are widespread, particularly with erratic spacing before commas and periods. Grammatical inaccuracies occur in nearly every sentence, including subject-verb agreement issues ('both views has own perspectives') and missing articles. These frequent errors cause difficulty for the reader and reflect a band 4 performance.
