Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is most challenging task to separate work and personal life. Some people believe that to interact with co-workers is the great idea. However, others think it is significant to keep professional life totally distinct from social intercourse. From my perspective, we sholuld not mix the personal and Business lfe.
The one side of the coin, people are interested to meet their teammates during evenings and weekends. The reason behind it is to get promotion in the future. That is why they do get togethers and do impress or sugar-coat them. For istance, my brother is working in the marketing company. In addition, they are doing parties, reunion or jamboree on the weekends. As consequence, he has been promoted last month to regional manager. But, the cost of his own money spend behind them.
The flip side of the coin, some individuals prefers to retain social and corporate lives entirely different. It is an amazing plan to do. Because it gives us calm and peaceful mind. To illustrate, Last month, one of or employee did a wedding and he invited all the peers. after a month, the couple had to decide to separate their ways. Furthermore, he has not master to keep their own secrets. He told to other colleagues and his personal life has become gossip point for the office.
As a result. he make hisself very embarrassed in front of them.
To sum up, it is very had to keep these both lives different. But we have to do it for our private space and family also.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on socialising with colleagues and clearly stating a personal opinion against mixing professional and personal life. The ideas are relevant and supported with examples, such as the brother's promotion and the colleague's wedding gossip incident. However, the development of ideas tends to be somewhat superficial and descriptive rather than analytically extended. The position is clear throughout the essay, fulfilling the basic requirements of the task adequately, which corresponds well to the Band 6 descriptors.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay is divided into paragraphs with a recognizable introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion, thus maintaining a coherent overall arrangement. Transitional phrases like 'The one side of the coin' and 'The flip side of the coin' are used to structure the text, though they are somewhat unnatural and mechanical. Referencing is occasionally faulty, such as in the sentence 'he has not master to keep their own secrets', where pronoun consistency and tracking are unclear. Paragraphing is attempted, but cohesion suffers from awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, but contains noticeable limitations and inaccuracies. The student attempts less common vocabulary such as 'jamboree', 'sugar-coat', and 'social intercourse', but the usage is often unnatural or inappropriate in context (e.g., 'sugar-coat them'). There are also recurring word choice and collocation errors, such as 'most challenging task' missing an article and 'spend behind them' instead of 'spent on them'. These lexical errors do not completely impede communication, placing the response at Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates a mix of simple and some complex sentence forms, but grammatical accuracy is weak throughout. There are frequent errors in verb forms, articles, and sentence structure, such as 'we sholuld not mix', 'people are interested to meet', 'he has not master', and 'he make hisself'. Punctuation is also faulty in places, including stray capitalisation and missing punctuation marks. While the meaning is generally decipherable, the high frequency of errors places this grammar performance firmly in the Band 5 category.
