Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is irrefutable that catching up with people plyas a vital role in the community. In salad days of millennium, the society is polarized into two chunks almost equally regarding the notion that wheather few human being belive that spent quality time of weekend with their colleagues or others thinks its crucial to we do not mix up with personal life and professional life., different masses have their distinct mindset. This essay will intends to scrutinize the both perspective to reach at nutshell as to which approache is better with apt example.
At the outset, there are myraiag things to be shared in favour of prior perception. The first and prominent one is that get together in the night or dusk is significant idea because individulas thinks in this way they can more enjoy and can relief due to hectic schedule. To justfy my out look, a person who spend most of the time with their colleagues , are like company in the evening also. In addition they know each other very well and shhare theire profeesonal as well as personal problems.
Shifiting towards the second school of thought, there are multifarious facts to be discussed. The conspicous one is that other thinks we should always keep are personal life private, owing to fact that in if they believe there is no point to spending evening time with colleagues, and if they sependng all the time with workinng partner they will not have time for their family members. As a consequence they believe it will create personal issue.
Hammering the last nail, I personally believe that although sharing time with colleagues is vital, but the downside should not be glossed over.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views on socialising with work colleagues and providing a personal opinion, which sits appropriately at this level. However, the treatment of the ideas is limited and under-developed. For instance, the discussion on favouring socialisation in the second paragraph mentions relieving a hectic schedule and being like family, but these points are not sufficiently extended or supported with clear examples. Similarly, the opposing view regarding privacy and family time in the third paragraph is repetitive and lacks depth. The writer's position is presented in the introduction and conclusion, but the overall development remains basic, restricting the depth required for higher bands.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays some overall organisation with a clear paragraph structure, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, there is no clear overall progression of ideas, and the flow is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and mechanical usage of cohesive devices, such as 'At the outset' and 'Shifiting towards the second school of thought'. Referencing is also unclear in places, such as in the third paragraph where pronouns like 'they' and 'if they believe' create confusion about who is being referred to. Paragraphing is attempted, but internal cohesion within paragraphs is inadequate and repetitive, keeping the organisational quality at this level.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student uses a limited but minimally adequate range of vocabulary suitable for addressing the topic. There are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling throughout the response, such as 'plyas' instead of 'plays', 'wheather' instead of 'whether', 'myraiag' instead of 'myriad', and 'sependng' instead of 'spending'. Less common lexical items are attempted, but inaccuracies in collocation and form, such as 'reach at nutshell' and 'prior perception', cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the vocabulary score from rising further.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writing demonstrates a limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on basic patterns alongside attempts at complex sentences that are frequently faulty. There are persistent errors in grammar, agreement, and punctuation throughout the text, such as 'this essay will intends', 'individulas thinks', and missing articles and incorrect verb forms. For example, 'a person who spend most of the time with their colleagues , are like company' exhibits subject-verb agreement errors. These frequent errors in grammar and punctuation cause difficulty and strain for the reader, placing this criterion at the current level.
