Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some individuals believe that we should spend quality this with our collogues but others suggest we need to keep our life private. In upcoming body paragraphs i well discuss both point of view.
On the one hand, people who feel that employees required to spend social time with with our colleagues because we spend more time of our life at work with them. As i personally believe that in our hectic work schedule every worker left with no time. So i think during weekend everyone try to do social goregrind. Because not only it helps reduce work load but also they will feel enargite.
one the other hand individuals who suggest we required keep our personal and professional life different. According to them although we spend more time at work but we work for our personal need not for developing social life. As in case they share their personal problem with their colleagues may be one day it can become difficulties in this success. Therefore, they think employees have not need to be a part of any office gossip as well as keep their social life fully private . For example, one day i read the news like one lady give her ketany to her boss but when her boss returs at work he or she fire her that's why i personally believe that worker can't become our family so we requird keep our social life far away from work.
In conclusion , eventhought every person have their own thinking related to work and social life but i belive everyone need to keep personal and perofessonal life seoprate simtualley.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on socialising with colleagues and providing a personal opinion, which sits comfortably at this level. The position is clear throughout the essay, particularly in the introduction and conclusion. However, some ideas remain limited and under-developed. For example, the argument that socialising reduces workload is mentioned briefly without clear explanation or supporting detail. Similarly, the example regarding an office incident is confusingly expressed and fails to fully support the argument that work colleagues cannot become true friends. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to extend and support all main ideas with more fully developed explanations and relevant, coherent examples from general knowledge.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt to structure the response into distinct paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. There is a logical progression of ideas, with the writer using transitional markers such as 'On the one hand' and 'one the other hand' to separate opposing views. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical and referencing is not always clear, as seen in the phrase 'in case they share their personal problem with their colleagues may be one day it can become difficulties'. Paragraphing is used, but the transition between ideas within paragraphs can feel disjointed. To achieve a higher band, the writer must use cohesive devices more flexibly and ensure that referencing and logical links between sentences flow more smoothly and naturally.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to convey the basic message of the prompt. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'hectic work schedule' and 'professional life', but there are noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and word form. For instance, 'collogues' is used instead of colleagues, 'goregrind' is inappropriate, and 'enargite' appears to be a misspelling of energized. Furthermore, issues with word forms such as 'perofessonal' and 'seoprate' are frequent. These lexical errors and spelling mistakes cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the response from achieving a higher band. A wider and more accurate range of vocabulary, along with correct spelling and natural collocations, is needed for further progress.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates a limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside attempts at complex forms that are frequently faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors in verb forms, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions within grammatical patterns. Examples of these errors include 'people who feel that employees required to spend', 'everyone try to do', and 'eventhought every person have their own thinking'. Punctuation and article usage also show persistent inaccuracies, such as missing articles before singular nouns ('one lady give her ketany to her boss'). These frequent errors can cause some difficulty for the reader. To improve, the writer should focus on increasing grammatical accuracy in complex sentence patterns and ensuring better control over verb tenses and agreement.
