Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, people have different view about whether it good to socialise with work colleagues during weekend or keep professional life separate fro personal life. While there are a valid argument on both sides. I believe that we should maintain a balance between working life and personal life.
On the one hand, one major reason to keep socialise with work colleagues during weekends is significantly important. In my views, while working inside office we all well-behaved or just focus on our own work. Even in short break we discuss about work related. But having get-to-gether on weekends helps to build strong communication with team members. We can show our other side too helps in understanding other people nature and different skills. Therefore, we should keep evening planwith colleagues once in a month atleast to maintain balance bewteen working colleagues and social life.
On the other hand, I believe that it is crucial to keep working life separate from personal life because we need family time too and need some break from office colleague to get a fresh start on the weekdays. For example. we giving whole 9 to 10 hours to work due ot this our family suffer. We cannot able to strive more time for ourself and family. To create a strong bond and understand family responsibilty we required to keep professional life separate from social life. As a result, we get time to reunite with our family responsibilty. In my opinion, maintian balance between family time an dwork life is mandatory to create healthy enviromnent in our overall life.
In conclusion, I believe that if we should keep working life separate from social life because we get more time with family and help in productivity.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both perspectives and give a personal view, so the response addresses the main parts of the task. The first body paragraph explains that informal gatherings can strengthen communication and help colleagues understand one another, while the second gives family time and rest as reasons for separation. However, the position is not fully consistent: you initially favour balance, but the conclusion says work and social life should be kept separate. Clarify whether you support occasional socialising alongside protected personal time, and state that view consistently. Some points also need fuller explanation—for example, explain how better communication at gatherings improves teamwork, and develop the claim that separation increases productivity with a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two paragraphs presenting opposing views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the discussion. Overall, the ideas are arranged coherently, but connections within paragraphs are sometimes mechanical or unclear. For instance, “We can show our other side too helps in understanding other people nature” combines ideas without a clear link, and “As a result” does not clearly show how the preceding point leads to the result. The conclusion also shifts from the balanced position in the introduction. Use clearer sentence-to-sentence links and consistent referencing, and make the final paragraph reflect the argument developed in the body.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “communication,” “team members,” “family time,” and “productivity,” and you attempt phrases such as “maintain a balance” and “create a strong bond.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, word-form, and spelling errors make parts difficult to understand. Examples include “keep socialise,” “get-to-gether,” “other people nature,” and “family responsibilty.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “we all well-behaved” and “reunite with our family responsibility.” Build a more accurate set of expressions for workplace relationships and personal time, and check spelling and word forms. More precise phrasing would help communicate your ideas without changing their meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast introduced by “While” and a reason clause beginning “because.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence construction, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “While there are a valid argument on both sides” is an incomplete sentence with an agreement error, and “we giving whole 9 to 10 hours to work” lacks a correctly formed verb. “We cannot able to strive more time” also has an incorrect verb pattern. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and finite verb, and check agreement and verb forms. Use complex clauses only when their grammatical relationship is clear.
