Student answer (Band 4.5)
i partially agree with both opinion. So, first of all some people thik about use social media during job time like week days and evening but unfortunatly, some people think social life is different to the job life. So i agree with both statements.
Firstly, soialise work is good for some people dont know about work on social media. So work on social media its good thing for the umknown person about work. And mainly all people need to know work on social media is it easy. and also socialise work in online meet too many friends and talk together.
Secondly, some peoples are thinking about social media its some time harmfull.Because all work information on social media so some people if want to damage, or harm to work so he has all information about job work.So its very dangerous for our company.Additionally, some individuals thinking right if someone harm your work so its harmfull for the company. so this reason to some people think socialise is keeping different to working life.
In conclusion, All people have different different opinion So,i agree with both views like many peoples are thinking about work with socialise and work dont with socialise.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You state a position—“i agree with both statements”—and attempt to discuss both views, so the response is connected to the question. However, the discussion is substantially unclear and only minimally developed. The first paragraph appears to support socialising with colleagues, but it focuses on “social media” and online meetings rather than explaining the benefits of spending evenings or weekends together. The second paragraph gives a possible concern about company information being misused, but the link to keeping work and social life separate is not clearly explained. The conclusion repeats your position without resolving how you balance the two views. The response is 53 words below the required minimum, which further limits the opportunity to explain and support your ideas. Develop relevant reasons and add a specific example for each view.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. These markers help the reader identify the intended discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because several sentences repeat or shift ideas without explaining their connection. For example, “work on social media” and “socialise work in online meet” do not clearly build a single argument about colleagues socialising outside work. The second paragraph repeats the idea that socialising may harm a company, but the reasoning is not sequenced clearly. Use topic sentences that directly state each view, then explain the reason and give an example. Clearer links between sentences would make the overall organisation easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “work information,” “company,” “dangerous,” and “social life,” and you attempt to express ideas about online communication and workplace risks. However, the range is limited and several key phrases are repeated, especially “social media,” “work,” and “harmfull.” Some word choices make the intended meaning unclear: “socialise work” and “unknown person about work” do not communicate a precise idea. Spelling errors such as “thik,” “unfortunatly,” and “soialise” also reduce accuracy. Build a more specific set of expressions for this topic, such as “spend time with colleagues,” “workplace relationships,” and “confidential company information,” and check spelling before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both short statements and longer sentences, and the reader can generally identify your main position. However, sentence structures are often incomplete or inaccurately formed, which makes several ideas hard to understand. For example, “some people thik about use social media during job time” lacks a clear grammatical structure, while “some people if want to damage, or harm to work so he has all information” has unclear clause order and agreement. There are also recurring problems with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “some peoples” and “Additionally, some individuals.” Practise forming a clear subject–verb–object sentence first, then add one reason using “because” or “which.” Check agreement, articles, and punctuation in each sentence.
