Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people beleive that spending evening times and weekends are good ideas to make themselves more socialise with their colleagues from their work places though other think that they should keep working life completely different from their personal lives. In my opinion both points justified equally , which i will discuss in my coming paragraphs.
To begin with, why people donot bring close their routine working life and social life. Firstly, It can make their life more stressfull If they will mix the work load during spending social hours .They could not enjoy the time they need to get peace. In addition, sometimes while discussing about their employers or employees behaviour or working style can lead into conflicts or could make bad impression on others. For an instance, If someone has the habbit to reach on work late and pending their work could become a discussion topic in the group can endup in heat argues.
On the other hand, why they should socialise with their colleagues the reason is most of the employees always love to spend their time together because they know each others better and exchange their ideas on different things like problems and successful life, can help them to solve their problems togather. Moreover, they can support to others in their crusial times as their family members and relatives cannot do that on time.
To conclude, while spending evening times or holidays with their work place colleagues alwasy support each others in their needs though we should also not ignore that it could sometimes make situatios worse and can impact bad on other's life .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views: the first body paragraph explains why colleagues may keep work and social life separate, while the next gives reasons to socialise, such as sharing ideas and offering support. Your conclusion also signals a balanced position. However, the opinion in the introduction—“both points justified equally”—is not developed into a clear, consistent judgement about which view you favour or under what circumstances. Several ideas remain general: the example about lateness and unfinished work is relevant, but its effect on social relationships could be explained more fully, and the benefits of sharing ideas are not illustrated. Develop each side with clearer reasoning and make your own position explicit throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. “To begin with” and “On the other hand” help readers follow the shift between arguments. Overall, the ideas are arranged coherently, but some links are mechanical or unclear. For example, “To begin with, why people…” introduces a question-like fragment rather than a direct topic sentence, and the first paragraph’s example is connected to its point only loosely. The conclusion repeats the two sides without clearly resolving the discussion. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main claim, then connect examples explicitly to that claim and use referencing more precisely.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “work load,” “conflicts,” “exchange their ideas,” and “support,” so the main message is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors make the writing less natural, such as “more socialise,” “heat argues,” and “crusial times.” Some phrases are also imprecise, including “different things like problems and successful life.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than adding more difficult words: for example, describe colleagues as socialising, say disagreements may become heated, and explain that they discuss personal or work-related challenges. Proofreading spelling and word forms would also improve clarity.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a conditional example beginning “If someone has…” and a contrast introduced by “though.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some ideas difficult to follow. For instance, “spending evening times and weekends are” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “If they will mix the work load” uses an unsuitable verb form after “if.” The opening of the first body paragraph is also not a complete, clear sentence. Practise building accurate clauses first, then combine them with conjunctions; check agreement, tense, and punctuation in each sentence.
