Student answer (Band 4.5)
Here, It is a debate of socialise with work colleagues during evening and weakends.moreover according to some indvidiual private lives and worke life keep apart from social life. Work life is totally different from personal life where a person work entire day with full attention and concentration . In a personal life a person discuss some social issues with their colleagues and family friends. In below i discuss my both opinion.
some people believe that in office , work with colleagues is better instead of alone.
However, attempt any task alone makes you tired and bored . Work together your work easier and also you cannot bored furthermore, people enjoy whole work with chitchat.for instance my father is also advised me work with family friends or colleagues is reliable than seprate. if you want to achived any task, you should necessaity to work together.
To my mind, i firmly believe that work alone is more efficent to work together . because if you work together it may cause many problems such as distraction . if you loss your intrest in your task due to gossips with your close one , you ruin your whole task. in my opinion seprate work is more benefical than work together. for example i rembered that 2 years ago idecided to work with my friend . i belive him and i tells him all secrets of my work so she ruin my all work and tells my bprsonal secret to everyone.
hence both opinion i

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You attempt to discuss both views and state a personal position: you first suggest that working with colleagues can make tasks easier, then argue that working alone is more efficient because colleagues may distract you or reveal private information. However, the response only minimally fulfils the task. The opening shifts between socialising outside work and working together on tasks, so the two views in the question are not clearly explained. The examples about your father’s advice and a friend sharing a secret are relevant in places, but they do not develop the benefits and drawbacks of socialising with colleagues during evenings or weekends. The final sentence, “hence both opinion i,” is unfinished, leaving the response without a complete conclusion. The required minimum length is also not met.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is an attempt to organise the response into an introduction, a paragraph supporting working with others, and a paragraph giving your own view. Basic linking expressions such as “However,” “for instance,” and “hence” show awareness of how ideas can be connected. Nevertheless, the progression is difficult to follow because the discussion moves from socialising after work to collaborating on tasks, without explaining the connection. Some links are unclear or contradictory, and the final phrase, “hence both opinion i,” leaves the argument incomplete. Paragraphing and clearer topic sentences would help distinguish the two views and your opinion. Use linking words to show the actual relationship between ideas, rather than inserting them where the connection is uncertain.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “personal life,” “distraction,” “concentration,” and “gossips,” and you attempt to express ideas about privacy and teamwork. However, the range is basic and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “weakends,” “indvidiual,” “seprate,” and “achived.” Some expressions are also unnatural or imprecise: “cannot bored,” “work with family friends or colleagues is reliable,” and “ruin my all work.” Repetition of “work,” “together,” and “opinion” limits variety. Build a more accurate set of phrases for discussing workplace relationships and socialising, and check spelling and collocations carefully so your intended meaning is clear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a conditional sentence with “if.” This shows some effort to vary sentence structure. However, errors are frequent, and several sentences are difficult to interpret. For example, “In a personal life a person discuss” has subject–verb agreement problems, while “my father is also advised me” uses an incorrect verb form. The sentence beginning “if you loss your intrest” also has errors in verb form and sentence punctuation. Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, and some sentences run together without clear boundaries. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then build longer sentences with correctly formed clauses, consistent tense, and clear punctuation.
