Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people believe that it is good idea to spend evenings and weekends with work colleagues to socialise with them, while other individuals think that it is not necessary to spend their time with co workers, we can keep it totally seperate. I will explain the both point of view in the forthcoming parapraphs.
Work colleagues always help to complete our tasks on time during busy periods and people also have good connection with them to share work related problems and other major concers of their life. If they are planning to do outing with them on evening and weekends, it might help them to make more strong relation with each others and more comfort and safe zone. For example, If a people utilize their time with same profession person like who have good expercience and knowledge about their specific profession and it supports them to do work with more interest and hard work. As a result, It puts good impact on the productivity of the work and help to grow the company too.
On the other hand, there are many people who do not like to share their personal life with their co workers becuase they want to enjoy their weeknends and evnings with their family or other close realtionships. For example, a survey was conducted by a company to get know about their perspective to spend time with colleagues or family members. Moreover, the quantitative data showed that mostly people like to spend their time with family because co workers are not enough fair with them and always feel jealous from their growth in work place. Therefore, if they have any issue with their co workers outside the work, may be that can effect on workplace as well. So that's why, some people want to keep working life completely separate from social life.
In conclusion, from my perspective, it is crutial to spend time with co workers but limited because they are not our family members, perhaps they have always jealousy factor in their mind. So, people should manage their life according to their person to person, if their co workers are good then they should go outside with them otherwise no.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and give a personal position: you support socialising with colleagues to a limited extent, while recognising that some people prefer to keep work and private life separate. The discussion is relevant, particularly the points about building workplace relationships and protecting time with family. However, the ideas are only partly developed. The example about a company survey is vague and unsupported, and the claim that colleagues may be jealous is presented as a generalisation rather than explained evidence. Your conclusion also makes the recommendation conditional on whether colleagues are “good,” without clarifying what this means. To strengthen the response, explain each main reason more fully and use a specific, plausible example. The response contains 355 words; 9 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. This makes the main direction easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” help distinguish the sections. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The first body paragraph moves from workplace support to social outings and then to company productivity without fully explaining the links. In the second, “Moreover” introduces survey results that seem to support the previous point, but the relationship between the survey and the claim about jealousy is not clear. Referencing is also occasionally vague, as in “that can effect on workplace.” Improve progression by giving each paragraph a clear central reason and linking examples directly to it, rather than relying mainly on transition phrases.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “work-related problems,” “productivity,” “personal life,” and “workplace,” and you attempt phrases such as “keep working life completely separate.” This gives you enough language to communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make the writing less precise: “make more strong relation,” “good connection,” and “jealousy factor” are awkward, while “seperate,” “expercience,” and “weeknends” are misspelled. Some expressions, such as “more comfort and safe zone,” are difficult to interpret naturally. Build a more accurate set of collocations for relationships and work-life boundaries, and check spelling carefully. More precise phrasing would make your arguments clearer and more convincing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional forms such as “If they are planning to do outing… it might help” and a contrast introduced by “while.” This shows an effort to vary sentence structure. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in articles, agreement, plurals, and sentence construction occur often enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “it is good idea” needs an article, “a people” has incorrect number, and “it supports them to do work” is not well formed. The opening sentence also joins two complete ideas with a comma, creating a run-on sentence. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly attached supporting clause, and check subject–verb agreement and articles during revision.
