Student answer (Band 6.0)
Numerous people think spending quality time with co-workers is better idea , whereas other portion of individuals think opposite from that, and prefer to keep working and private life separate, as it might disturb a person's performance at work. I will be supporting formar statement for which I will be explaining my reasons in upcoming paragraphs.
Socialising with colleagues is a great idea as it does not only stregthen their bond with them, but also people come to know more about their working partners. To be more precise, when workers meet each other outside, without any work load, they open up well and talk about their personal issues, moreover they talk about things where company is lacking. Along with that, they share their ideas with each other which make them more trustworthy to each other. Thus, it will surely boost their confidence to work in a team.
However, on other side keeping private and working life separate might be useful in some cases. To explain it, sometimes co-workers get more close to each other and they start to take their work lightly and get indulged into fun only. As a result of that, they become less productive and become burden for company to deal with. However, portion of people also prefer to stay with their family more and it matters more to them. Thus, it could be beneficial but to some extent only.
To conclude, separating co-oprate and personal life can be effective, but on other end, knowing more about working partners create more relaxation, emotional bond and great understanding between them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state your preference clearly: “I will be supporting” socialising, and the conclusion again favours building bonds with colleagues. The first main paragraph gives relevant reasons, including that informal meetings can help workers share ideas and improve teamwork. The opposing view is also included, with concerns about reduced productivity and time with family. However, these points are not developed equally: the claim that colleagues may “take their work lightly” is asserted rather than supported with a specific explanation or example, and the family point is brief. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of each view more fully and add a concrete example showing how socialising can improve workplace cooperation.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The progression from benefits to drawbacks is easy to follow, and signposts such as “To be more precise,” “However,” and “To conclude” help guide the reader. At times, though, linking is mechanical or the relationship between ideas is unclear. For example, “Along with that” introduces another benefit, while “However, portion of people also prefer…” shifts to a separate family-related point without explaining its connection to the previous argument. The conclusion also repeats the contrast rather than drawing the discussion together. Use clearer references and transitions, and make each paragraph develop one connected line of reasoning.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a reasonable range of topic-related vocabulary, including “socialising,” “productive,” “emotional bond,” and “understanding,” and the main ideas remain understandable. There are also attempts at less common or more formal expressions, such as “indulged into fun” and “burden for company,” but these are not natural collocations. Several spelling and word-choice errors—“stregthen,” “co-oprate,” “former,” and “work load”—reduce accuracy, while phrases such as “other portion of individuals” sound awkward. Aim for precise, natural combinations rather than formal-sounding wording: for instance, “strengthen relationships,” “become less productive,” and “place a burden on the company.” Proofreading spelling and checking collocations would make your vocabulary more effective.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex structures, including a reason clause (“as it might disturb…”) and a conditional-style explanation (“when workers meet each other outside…”). Most of the meaning is clear, but some grammatical errors occur in both sentence construction and punctuation. Examples include “is better idea” and “on other side,” where articles are missing, and “ideas with each other which make them,” where the relative clause does not agree with its subject. The opening sentence is also long and awkwardly joined, and spaces before commas appear in several places. Work on articles, subject–verb agreement, and sentence boundaries; separating the opening into shorter sentences would improve control while preserving your attempts at complex grammar.
