Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is believed by some individuals that it is very good ideas to spend time with their co-workers in weekends and in evening time, others opine that people have to maintain distance from them and keep work and personal life separate. In this eassy i will discuss both the perspectives and i am in the favor of former view.
There are many reasons why some people says that its very good to spend some leisure time with the colleagues. The prominent reason is that, they get to know about each other and their bondings become stronger when they spend time together .Hence, they will work as a team in the office or workplaces and the productivity of the work increases as well.Secondly, the environment if the work will be good because there will be no conflicts between the workers because they know about the likes and dislikes about their coworkers. If one worker get confused and feel any difficulty regarding any work then other will help him or her.
There are many reasons why some believe that its good to keep work and personal life separate. The main reason is that sometimes there are slme conflicts in lersonal life occurs which will ultimately effect the work life. For example, if two workers are neighbors and they are good friends and one day one worker ask money from their colleagues and he or she denied to give then they often express their jealousy ir frustration at work towards other employee.
In my opinion, i believe that its goid to have a good bond with the colleagues but within the limit. One do not have to overdependent on other colleague because of money and other need which will effect the friendship as well as well as the relationship between the coworkers. They have to spend the time with their colleagues within the boundaries nit very often to visit their houses or meeting them daily.
In conclusion,i would like to reiterate that its good to spend time with the coworkers but iwithin the boundaries and not over depend on them because of finances.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and make your own position clear: you favour socialising with colleagues, while recommending that it happen “within the limit.” The first body paragraph gives relevant benefits, including stronger bonds, teamwork and mutual help. The opposing view is also illustrated with a workplace example involving a refused loan. However, that example focuses mainly on money and resentment, so the broader reason for keeping work and social life separate—such as protecting privacy or avoiding work discussions outside office hours—could be explained more fully. Your opinion is relevant, but the boundary you recommend is not defined clearly, and the conclusion mostly repeats it. Develop each side with a more balanced explanation and a specific, well-explained example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. This makes the discussion easy to follow, and linking expressions such as “Secondly,” “For example,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of your argument. The ideas within the first body paragraph also progress from stronger relationships to teamwork and assistance. To make the organisation more fluent, avoid relying on repeated openings such as “There are many reasons” and make links between claims more precise. Some sentences run together without adequate spacing or punctuation, which interrupts the flow. Clearer sentence boundaries and more varied transitions would help the cohesion feel less mechanical and support the logical progression already present.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “co-workers,” “productivity,” “conflicts,” “jealousy,” and “boundaries,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “maintain distance” and “overdependent.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, spelling, and word-form errors make the writing less natural. For example, “bondings” is not the usual noun in this context, “the environment if the work” appears to be an inaccurate phrase, and “over depend” is not correctly formed. Repeated use of “good,” “spend time,” and “colleagues” also limits precision. Build a wider set of natural collocations for workplace relationships and check spelling and word forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “If one worker get confused…” and a longer example beginning “if two workers are neighbors…”. This shows an effort to explain causes and consequences, but control is inconsistent. Some errors occur in subject–verb agreement (“some people says,” “one worker get”), articles and sentence construction (“it is very good ideas”), and verb forms (“will ultimately effect” in the intended sense). Punctuation and spacing also affect sentence boundaries, as in the opening paragraph, where two clauses run together. These errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the overall argument, but they make several sentences awkward. Practise accurate agreement and clause punctuation, then edit each sentence for a clear subject and verb.
