Student answer (Band 6.0)
There is an ongoing debate regarding the socialisation. There are divided opinions about that. Some people thinks that hanging out with collegues is more integral part of socialisation. However, some opponents believe that the person should keep their work and social life separate completely. Both the viewpoints will be discussed in the upcoming paragraphs with valid reasons and appropriate examples.
Discussing the former view, the foremost one is that socialisation with the colleagues can escalate the work productivity because of bonding. Moreover, spending time with a work mate can give you a better idea about temprament, nature, likes and dislikes about fellow worker. It will foster the positive natural bonding among the colleagues. For instance, coffee after work with your colleague can helpful to create good bond and good memories at the same time. On top of that, they can talk about the growth of their company together. More you spend time with them, it will strengthen the relationship bond and that will foster the positive atmosphere in the work place.
Discussing the later view, some people may counterclaimed that work life and social life should be treated differently. They feel burden to spend time with work colleagues, because they do not want to talk about the work after working hours. They want to stay free from any gossips. Furthermore, for them mixing the both life together will add more stress into their life. For example, you are on beach holiday with your work partners, you will be still talking about one incident happened at your office earlier. According to some people they can feel free with person who are not working with them. Additionally they do not afraid of any judgements and they can enjoy their private life too.
Based on the aformentioned reasoning, I believe in former view of this statement. The individuals should spend more time with their colleagues, it will increased work productivity, reduce sense of competition, and fostering positive friendly environment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both views and state your own position clearly: the first two body paragraphs explain the benefits of colleague relationships and the wish to keep work separate, while the conclusion supports socialising with colleagues. The examples, such as having coffee after work and discussing an office incident during a holiday, are relevant. This meets the task well, though the discussion is not equally developed: the first view has several linked benefits, whereas the second is explained mainly through stress and reluctance to discuss work. Your own opinion is clear but would be more convincing if you acknowledged a possible limit to socialising with colleagues or explained more fully how it reduces competition and improves productivity. These additions would make the ideas more fully extended and supported throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each viewpoint, and a conclusion that returns to your position. The progression is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Discussing the former view” and “Furthermore” help readers identify the argument. However, some linking is mechanical or repetitive, particularly the repeated “Discussing…” openings and frequent use of “Moreover,” “On top of that,” and “Additionally.” Some references are also unclear: “the foremost one” does not clearly identify a reason, and “that” in “that will foster the positive atmosphere” has an uncertain reference. Use more varied transitions and connect each example directly to the point it supports to make cohesion more flexible and precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “work productivity,” “bonding,” “burden,” and “private life,” and the meaning is generally understandable. There are also some noticeable problems with word choice, collocation, word forms, and spelling that limit precision: “more integral part of socialisation,” “positive natural bonding,” and “relationship bond” sound unnatural or repetitive, while “collegues,” “temprament,” and “aformentioned” are misspelled. “Gossips” is not the natural choice in this context, and “counterclaimed” is awkward for introducing an opposing view. Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than adding formal-sounding phrases; this will make your vocabulary more effective and reduce moments when the reader has to interpret your intended meaning.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple and more complex sentence forms, including clauses with “because” and “although”-type contrasts, and most ideas remain understandable. However, some errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction persist. For example, “Some people thinks” should use a plural verb, “can helpful” needs a verb form such as “can help,” and “it will increased” has an incorrect verb form. In “More you spend time with them,” the comparative structure needs an article or a different construction. The final sentence also shifts awkwardly between “will” and “fostering.” Review subject–verb agreement and keep verb forms consistent within each sentence. More accurate control of these patterns would strengthen the otherwise clear communication.
