The bar chart below shows the percentage of Australian men and women in different age groups who did regular physical activity in 2010.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The given bar graph illustrate ratio of Australian male and female of different ages doing physical activity on daily basis in year 2010

In an overview, Maximum percentile of men who doing physical activites was of 15 to 24 age group whilst, 35 to 44 age group have least ratio of men. And, 45 to 54 age group have largest ratio of women of active lifestyle.

Age group 15 to 24 rate of daily workout of men was 52.8%, being higher than women rate by 5.1%. then, 25 to 34 age group women rate rose to 48.9 percent whereas, men ratio get decrease and reach to 42.2%. However, age group of 35 to 44 showed a gradual decrease of men fitness level and touch the point of 34.5%. But, in women daily fitness there is steady growth which increases 3.06% than last age group.

Percentage of men and women who had fitness routines by age group 45 to 54 and 55 to 64 had negligibl differre 43.1%, 53.3% and 45.1%, 53% respectively. Turning to the last age group

65 and over who had almost same ratio of men and women which is also a average of rest of age group men (46.7%) and women (47.1%).
