Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under the 150-word minimum, which severely limits your ability to cover all parts of the task. You have provided an overview and some data for women, but the response is incomplete and cuts off abruptly mid-sentence. Because you failed to complete the description of the male data and did not provide a full summary of the main features or comparisons, the task is only partially addressed. To improve, you must ensure you have enough time to complete the full report, including a clear overview and a detailed comparison of all categories presented in the chart.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The response shows some basic organization with an introduction and an overview. However, the abrupt ending makes it impossible to judge the overall progression or the effective use of cohesive devices throughout the text. While you use some linking words like 'Overall' and 'On the other hand', the lack of completion means the logical flow is interrupted. To achieve a higher band, ensure your response is fully developed and that you use a variety of cohesive devices to connect your ideas smoothly across paragraphs.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision required for a higher band. Phrases like 'ladies of all ages' are slightly informal; 'women' is more appropriate for an academic report. You also struggle with accurate terminology, such as 'ratio of routine physical fitness' and 'joined regular body exercises', which sound unnatural. To improve, focus on using precise academic collocations related to data interpretation, such as 'proportion of individuals' or 'participation rates in physical activity'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains several grammatical errors that hinder clarity. For example, 'the middle-aged group of middle age lies 25 and 50' is syntactically confusing and contains redundant phrasing. There are also issues with punctuation and sentence structure, such as 'lower percentage is 39.5 % and higher is 43.1%'. You rely on simple sentence structures, and the incomplete nature of the text prevents the demonstration of a wider range of complex grammatical forms. Focus on subject-verb agreement and clearer sentence construction to improve your accuracy.
